Cecilia

Celilia Coleman and Martin Coleman were the godparents of Margaret Coleman (daughter of Bernard Coleman and Elizabeth McCall) St. Elizabeth Church, Philadelphia on 4 May 1893. It is not known if Celilia was the grandmother of Margaret.

Patrick Coleman Jr.

RELATIONSHIP: this is a guess. Phildadelphia City Directories show a Patrick
Coleman, Jr living with Patrick, Martin and Bernard Coleman in 1888.
Later, Patrick appears on his own. Martin is known to be the son of Patrick Coleman Sr. Also, a Patrick Coleman is shown living with married couple Martin and Delia Coleman and their children in the 1900 census.

In 1900, Patrick Coleman (31) lived with the family of Martin Coleman at 3430 Clearfield St. in Philadelphia. Patrick, who was not married at the time of the census, was employed as a day laborer. He had been unemployed two months in the previous year.

Records conflict on date of immigration. The 1900 census states that Patrick arrived in America in 1891 and had been here for 9 years. However, a Patrick Coleman Jr. is shown in the 1888 Philadelphia City Directory.
