James Heinie Dalsky

Obituary:

James H. Heinie Dalsky, age 75, of Canton, loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away Wednesday March 29, 2000 in McKinley Life Center following an extended illness. Heinie was born February 27, 1925 in Massillon and was the son of the late Herman and Florence (Sibila) Dalsky. He was a former Keller operator for the Ford Motor Company, retiring in 1986. He was an Army Veteran of WWII serving with the 94th Infantry Division. Heinie was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church, a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus Louisville Council #2530, a member of the American Legion Post #548 and a member of the F.O.E. Louisville Aerie #2374. He was a former Louisville City Councilman and a member of the board for the Charter Commission of Louisville. He leaves behind his wife of 53 years, Mary Margaret (Gulling) whom he wed November 9, 1946; four daughters and sons-in-law, Elaine and Donald Chip Cassidy of Minerva, Julie and Donald Frank of Harrisburg, Susan and Michael Warne of Canton and Jayne and Jim Gribble of Darnestown, MD; two sons and daughters-in-law, Lynn and Marsha Dalsky of Louisville and John and Kathy Dalsky of Jefferson, OH; 12 grandchildren, Jan and Scott Cassidy, Nicholas, Carrie, Sarah and Laura Frank, Lauren and Laney Dalsky, Katelyn, Robert and Eric Warne, Dylan Gribble; and a special family friend, Steven Stone. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his step-father, Jim Ali; a son, Robert V. Dalsky; and a brother, John Dalsky. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Louis Catholic Church with Msgr. Ken Miller officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart of Mary Cemetery in Harrisburg. Friends may call Friday evening (tonight) from 5-8 p.m. at the Paquelet-Falk Funeral Home in Louisville. Mary Margaret Gulling

Obituary:

Mary Margaret Dalsky, age 77, of Louisville, loving mother and grandmother, passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2002, in St. Joseph Care Center following an extended illness. Mary Margaret was born September 23, 1925, in Harrisburg to the late Vincent and Bernice (Moulin) Gulling. She was a former Clerk and Mail Carrier for the Louisville Branch of the U.S. Postal Service. She was a member of the Sacred Heart of Mary Senior Citizens Group, the American Legion Auxiliary and St. Louis Catholic Church where she was active in the Columbus Women's Club. Mary Margaret was a founding member and treasurer of St. Hope, a charitable AIDS organization. Mary Margaret leaves behind four daughters and three sons-in-law, Elaine and Donald Chip Cassidy of Minerva, Julie and Donald Frank of Harrisburg, Susan and Michael Warne of Canton and Jayne Gribble of Germantown, MD; two sons and daughters-in-law, Lynn and Marsha Dalsky of Louisville and John and Kathy Dalsky of Jefferson, OH; 12 grandchildren, Jan and Scott (Kim) Cassidy, Nicholas, Carrie, Sarah and Laura Frank, Lauren and Laney Dalsky, Katelyn, Robert and Eric Warne and Dylan Rachal Gribble; two brothers and three sisters-in-law, Kenneth and Florence Gulling of Medina and Russell and Mary Gulling of Louisville and Mary Gulling of Clinton. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, James Heinie Dalsky in 2000; a son, Robert V. Dalsky; three brothers, Donald. Gerald and Dale Gulling. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. in St. Louis Catholic Church with Msgr. Ken Miller and Msgr. John Zuraw as celebrants. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart of Mary Cemetery in Harrisburg. Friends will be received by Mary Margaret's family Thursday (today) from 5-8 p.m. at the Paquelet -Falk Funeral Home in Louisville. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of St. Louis Church Building Fund.


Helen M. Monter

Obituary:

Helen M. Polus, age 91, formerly of Maximo, passed away Wednesday, Dec- ember5, 2001, in St. Joseph Care Center in Louisville, following an extended illness. Helen was born Sept. 25, 1910 in Harrisburg, the daughter of the late Victor and Dora (Frank) Monter. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Maximo and was active in the church's Altar and Rosary Society. Helen leaves behind two daughters and son-in-law, Theresa Polus of Alliance and James (Mary) Lucas of Louisville; a son and daughter-in-law, Joseph (Barbara) Polus of Selley Lake, MT; two sisters, Kathleen Chenevey of Alliance and Isabelle Monter of Louisville; two grandchildren, Joseph and Kelly Polus, both of Bozeman, MT. Besides her parents, Helen is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph H. Polus, in 1996; her stepmother, Cora (Briggs) Monter; two sisters, Sister Mary Joanita and Ethel Heppner; three brothers, John, Paul and Austin Monter. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Maximo with Rev. Fr. William Bantz officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call Sunday afternoon from 1-3 p.m. at the Paquelet-Falk Funeral Home in Louisville. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Care Center of in Louisville.
