Bernard J. Weisent

Obituary:

Bernard J. Weisent, age 85, of Canton, OH, passed
away Friday afternoon in the Meadow Wind Health Care
Center. Born in Louisville, OH, on December 11, 1917,
he was the son of the late, Urban and Lucy Weisent. He
was a former aircraft mechanic and Inspector for the
FAA, and a retired employee of Hercules Engines,
retiring in 1984 after 20 years of service.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by
his wife, Dorothea Weisent who passed away June 4,
2002. He was a member of the William McKinley
Masonic Lodge #431 F&AM, Scottish Rite Valley of
Canton and the McKinley White Shrine #54.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law,
Skip and Karen Weisent of Canton; a sister, Helen
Jean Race of Louisville, OH; several nieces and
nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at
11 a.m. in the Reed Funeral Home. Burial will be in
Sunset Hills Burial Park. Calling hours at the funeral
home on Monday 7-9 p.m.


Dorothea L. Prince

Obituary:
Dorothea I. Weisent, age 78, of Canton, died Tuesday
morning in the home following an extended illness. Born
December 25, 1923, in Zanesville, OH to the late Howard
and Nellie (Hoskins) Prince.
She was a member of John Knox Presbyterian Church,
was retired from Aultman Hospital in 1985 and was a
member of Order of Eastern Star Delta Chapter #539 and
McKinley White Shrine #54.
Preceded in death by four brothers, Ronald, Donald,
Howard and Kermit Prince. Survivors include her husband,
Bernard, of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Skip
and Karen Weisent of Canton; one sister, Roma Kent of
Canton.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 11 a.m.
in the Reed Funeral Home with Rev. Douglas Patton
officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park.
Calling hours in the funeral home Wednesday 7-9 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in
her name to the Aultman Hospital Cancer Center, 2600 -
6th St. S.W., Canton, OH 44710.
