John L. Moeller

In 1930, 28 year old John L. Moeller owned a house worth $7000 on Clarion Ave. in Ross Twp., Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. Living with him was his wife of four years, Dorothy. Also living in the home, but enumerated as a separate family, were Dorothy's mother and younger siblings. John worked as a clerk in an office. He was a native of Pennsylvania, as were his parents. Dorothy was born in West Virginia according to the census. Her parents were natives of Pennsylvania. The family had no children at the time of the 1930 census.


Dorothy M. Smith

The 1910 census states that Dorothy was born in Pennsylvania; however,1920 and 1930 census records indicate that she was a native of West Virginia.


Harry Marlow

Dates of birth and death (from Social Security Death Index) have not been proven. It is known that Harry Marlow died prior to 2003.


Margaret Smith

At the time of the 1930 census, 22 year old Margaret Smith lived with her widowed mother in the home of her married sister, Dorothy Moeller (Noeller) in Ross Twp., Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. Margaret worked as an office clerk.

Margaret Marlow Formerly of West View
Margaret Marlow, 98, died Thursday, May 1, 2003. Beloved
wife of the late Harry J. Marlow. Mother of Alma Sweitzer
(James) of Eighty Four. Grandmother of Lisa (Brian) Gierl of
Bridgeville and Kevin (Rebecca) Sweitzer of Baldwin. Great-
grandmother of Shelby Lyn Sweitzer. Friends received from
2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Schellhaas Funeral Home,
Inc.., 388 Center Ave., West View, where a blessing service will
be held at 10 a.m. Monday. Interment will be in St. Boniface
Cemetery


James P. Botzer

In 1930, newly married James P. Botzer (27) and his wife Helen <M. (25) rented rooms for $25 a month in the home of Helen's parents, Adolph and Mary Smith at 1517 Lowrie St. in Pittsburgh. James worked as a druggist in a pharmacy. He was a native of Pennsylvania. .

Acording to her granddaughter, Helena, Helen Kaule Botzer was a wonderful loving woman.

At the time of the 1930 census, 19 year old Harold A. Smith lived with his widowed mother in the home of his married sister, Dorothy Moeller (Noeller) in Ross Twp., Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. Harold worked as a clerk in the phonograph industry.


Elenora O. Wilkinson

In 1930, Elnora Wilkinson was a 24 year old divorced woman who was the head of household in the home formerly owned by her parents at 1030 Pfendler St. in Sapulpa, Creek County, Oklahoma. The home was valued at $500. Living with her was her son Billie J. Kaufman (2 yrs 5 mos). Billie was born in California, and his father was a native of Arkansas. Elnora was 21 when she was married. Like many of her nieghbors, she owned a radio.
