their home here after visiting Mr. and Mrs. James Schafer
in Harrietsville.


Mary Christina Schafer

From the Zanesville Signal, 28 Dec 1925:
Harrietsville, O., Dec 28. - Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence
Swick and children are spending a few days with the
latter’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Shafer.
Mr. and Mrs. Farley of Dexter City are spending a
few days with the later’s (sic) parents, Mr. and Mrs.
W. H. Shafer.

According to the Ohio online death certificate index, Mary Christina Ullman was a dressmaker in the hospital industry.

Delores Zwick visited Tuesday at the Ed Kilzer home of
Lower Salem route.


L. V. Wallace

The following wedding announcement was published in the Zanesville Times Recorder on 15 Sep 1947:
MARTIN-WALLACE RITES IN PARSONAGE
Mrs. Deloris Martin and L. V. Wallace were married
Saturday, September 6, in the parsonage of Coburn
Methodist church by Rev. C. F. Bowman. Mrs. Martha
Ullman, sister-in-law of the bride, and George Robertson
attended the couple.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon
Ullman, of Ridge avenue. She is a graduate of Cameo
School of Beauty Culture. Mr. Wallace s the son of Mr.
and Mrs. Milton Wallace of Chesterhill and is employed
by Hazel Atlas Glass Company, Plant No. 2. The couple
live at 425 Schaum avenue.

Pauline Mary Zwick

HARRIETSVILLE - Mrs. Emma Ridgeway, Pauline and
Delores Zwick visited Tuesday at the Ed Kilzer home of
Lower Salem route.

M. Pauline Kehl's obituary appeared in The Marietta (OH) Times newspaper on March 12, 2007
LOWELL — Mary Pauline Kehl, 82, of 423 Fifth St., Lowell,
died Saturday (March 10, 2007) at her home. She was born in Lewisville, Monroe County, Ohio, on Aug.
24, 1924, to Lawrence and Mary Schafer Zwick. She graduated
from Elk Rural High School, Harriettsville, in 1943. She had
worked at the arsenal in Roy, Utah, during World War II. Pauline
had been employed by Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home for several
years. She was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Church. She
was a member of A.A.R.P. and American Legion Auxiliary, Unit 888,
of Zanesville. Pauline was a wonderful woman, loved by many, and
will be greatly missed. She is survived by her daughter, Penny Kehl Sawyer and husband,
Dean, of Glennallen, Alaska; son, Tad A. Kehl and wife, Denise, of
Zanesville; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a brother, Larry
Zwick of Zanesville; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ted A. Kehl, on March
25, 2001; they were married on March 23, 1944. She was preceded in
death also by a daughter, Tammy; a brother, Donald Ullman; and a sister,
Delores (Dee) Wallace. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Lowell
Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home, with Pastor James Fer-
nihough officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may
call at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.


Donald Eugene Zwick Ullman Sr.

Announcement of the Ullman’s 25th wedding anniversary appeared in the Zanesville Times Recorder on 3 May 1972:
ANNIVERSARY
Mr. and Mrs. Donald E. Ullman Sr. of Route 7 observed
their 25th wedding anniversary April 26. They have four child-
ren, Mrs. Sondra Stephenson and Donald Ullman Jr., both
of Route 7, and La Donna Sue and Martha Jane, both of the
home. There are two grandchildren.
