WOODSFIELD - Monday afternoon March 7 Rev. J.V.A. Traylor read the wedding ceremony in which two sisters became the brides of two brothers. In the first single ring ceremony read at the Traylor home in Woodsfield, Miss Betty Fern Berry, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alva Berry of Jerusalem was united in marriage to Allen Derward Swallie, son of Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Swallie of Beallsville. The bride wore a street length dress of gray and her accessories were of black.
In the second ceremony, Miss Wilma Pauline Berry became the bride of Ronald William Swallie. Miss Berry wore a black dress trimmed with melon rose and her accessories were in black. Their only attendants were the father of the bridegrooms and the mother of the brides. On Sunday a wedding dinner will be served in their honor at the home of the bridegrooms’ parents.
