Harold W. Dimerling

Twelve-year-old West Virginia named Harold Demerly was found in the 1920 census living in Martins Ferry Ward 2, Belmont Co., Ohio with his uncle and aunt, George (38) and Emma (33) Tencate. Emma was the sister of Harold's father, Henry Dimmerling.

In 1930, Harold Dimerling (23) and his wife Anna (19) lived at 1134 Pennsylvania Ave. in Monaca, Beaver Co., PA. Harold was from West Virginia and his wife was a native of Pennsylvania. The census states that Harold's parents were German and Anna's were from Poland. The couple had been married for a year and had no children. Harold worked as a clerk in a steel office. His aunt and uncle, Emma and George Tencate, also lived in Beaver Co.

Charnock Jr.; brother of Dolores R. Wagner; grandfather of James, Justin, Hared, Shannon, and Derek. Relatives and friends may call at the Borgwardt Funeral Home, 4400 Powder Mill Rd., Beltsville, MD., Tuesday 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where service will be held on Thursday, April 12 at 12:30 p.m. Interment Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, Md.

Rosemary A. Burkhart

SLEIME, Rosemary A. Burkhart, 82, of Wheeling, W.Va., died Wednesday, December 21, 2005 at home. She was born on June 10, 1923, a daughter of the late Joseph and Ella Ault Burkhart. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Wheeling.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell J. Sleime; two brothers, Joseph and Frank Burkhart; and a sister, Betty Flanagan.
Surviving are a son, James Russell Sleime and his wife, Carla, of Wheeling; a daughter, Judy Bankey and her husband, James, of Fredericktown, Ohio; five grandchildren, Jeff Bankey, James Bankey, Shawnna Holt, Stewart Sleime and Seth Sleime; and four great-grandchildren. Friends will be received on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff Street, Wheeling. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Michael Catholic Church, Wheeling with the Rev. Anthony Cincinnati as celebrant.
