William H. Mangin

William Mangin’s obituary appeared in the Zanesville Times Recorder on 24 Nov 1968:
William H. Mangin, 86, formerly of 1503 Adamsville road, died at 3:45 p.m. Saturday (Nov. 23) at Shields Nursing Home where he had been a resident for the past 18 months. He had been ill for 12 years.
Mr. Mangin was born Dec. 27, 1882 in Italy, a son of Albert Mangini and Louise Martini and came to the United States at the age of 11. He had lived in the Zanesville area for the past 50 years and retired 10 years ago after having been employed at the Mosaic Tile Company and Burnham Boiler Corporation.
He was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church and the Eagles Lodge.
Surviving are a son Glenn Mangin of East Fultonham; two daughters, Mrs. Harrison (Geraldine) Lacy of Dresden Route 1 and Mrs. Clarabelle Burkhard of Route 8; eight grandchildren; a brother, John Mancini of San Antonio, Texas, and a sister, Mrs. Orlando Mancini of New Castle, Pa.
The body was taken to DeLong and Baker Funeral Home where friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday.
