Anna Maria Letzelter

According to the census, Anna had given birth to five children, one of whom died before 1900.

At the time of the 1920 census, widow Anna M. Poulton (45) rented a home at 92 Elm St. in Wheeling, Ohio County, West Virginia where she lived with her five children, Edmund (24), Helen (20), Mildred (15), Mary C. (9) and Rita (5). Anna did not work outside the home. Mildred and Mary attended school.

In 1930, widow Anna M. Poulton (53) rented a home for $22 a month at 92 Iowa St. in Wheeling WV. Living with her were her daughters Mildred L. (25), Mary K. (20) and Rita T. (15), as well as her widowed sister, Fannie Tracy (57). Rita attended school. Everyone in the household was a native of Ohio. Anna did not work outside the home. The family owned a radio set.

At the time of the 1930 census, Mildred Pouiton lived with her widowed mother in Wheeling, WV. She was employed as a stenographer for a corrugating company.

John M. Caton

At the time of the 1910 census John (27) and Laura Caton (24) lived in the home of her widowed mother, Magdaline Letzelter (62). The couple had been married four years. John owned a barber shop. Laura had given birth to two children, both of whom died.

In 1920, John M. Caton (36) rented a home at 126 South Huron in Wheeling, WV. Other members of the household were his wife, Laura T. (34), daughter Rosemma (6), unmarried sister-in-law Mary M. Letzelter (42), widowed brother-in-law Michael W. Letzelter (37) and nephews Cyril A. (13), Michael (11) and Richard T. (7) Letzelter. All of the children attended school. Everyone in the home was a native of Ohio. John Caton was employed as a barber, and Michael Letzelter worked as a plumber.
