Charles R. Yontz, 78, of Columbus, passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2008. Born to Frank J and Mary (Spangler) Yontz in Byesville, OH on June 15, 1930. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, brother Francis "Curly" Yontz, sisters Helen McGuire and Alma Stillwell. Survivors include his sons, Phillip (Robin), Lawrence, and Donald (Pamela) Yontz; granddaughter, Amy Yontz; nieces and nephews. Charles was the sole proprietor of "Lighthouse Recreation". Mrs. Elizabeth Deku Burkhart died on Friday morning at
her home in Woodsfield, O., after an illness of two weeks.
She is survived by her husband, Wendell Burkhart, and a
brother, Henry Deku.
Mass will be celebrated in St. Sylvester church at Woods-
field on Monday at 10 o'clock, followed by interment in the
church cemetery.According to her death certificate, Mary Elizabeth Deku Burkhart had been a resident of Woodsfield for only five years.
