According to his death certificate, Charles Ackerman worked for an oil derrick contruction firm. Death certificate informant was Stella Schumacher, his daughter.

WOODSFIELD -- Louis H. Schumacher Jr., 66, of Adams Avenue died Thursday , December 14, 2000 at his home. He was born May 13, 1934, in Monroe County to Louis R. and Estella Ackerman Schumacher. He was a member of St. Sylvester Catholic Church in Woodsfield. He retired from Consolidated Aluminum Corp. in 1984 and was a carpenter by trade. He is survived by three sons, Mitchell Schumacher and his wife, Ashley, of Woodsfield, Perry Schumacher and his wife, Deb, of Woodsfield and Paul "Pete" Schumacher and his wife, Kristi, of West Jefferson; two daughters, Kristel and Wayne Smith of Woodsfield and Lynda and Chris Keylor of Barnesville; one brother, Francis Schumacher of Woodsfield; and six grandchildren, Allison Schumacher, Andrew Schumacher, Doug Hauck, Chelsey Keylor, Zack Keylor and Jordan Schumacher. He was preceded in death by one brother, Arthur Schumacher; and one sister, Margaret Ann Schumacher Bride. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Sylvester Catholic Church in Woodsfield with the Rev. David Gaydosik officiating. Burial is in St. Sylvester Catholic Church Cemetery in Woodsfield. Vigil services are at 8:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Bauer- Turner Funeral Home, 100 S. Paul St., Woodsfield.
