Herbert Yeager

Herbert Yeager passed away in an accident at work. He left his wife, Martha and daughter Ruth Ann. His son Herbert was born one week after his funeral.

YEAGER, Marie J., 89, of Moundsville, W.Va., formerly of St. Joseph Settlement, W.Va., loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and child of Christ, died Saturday, January 29, 2005 in the Country Home, Moundsville.
She was born September 6, 1915 in Marshall County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Leonard W. and Adda Shutler Frohnapfel.
Mrs. Yeager was a retired employee of the former Viking Glass Company, New Martinsville, W.Va.; and a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Moundsville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Yeager; and a brother, Melvin Frohnapfel.
Surviving are a son, Herbert E. Yeager and his wife, Dianna, of Glen Easton; a daughter, Ruth Ann South and her husband, Larry, of New Martinsville; two sisters, Catherine Fox of Wheeling; and Sister Roberta of the Pallottine Missionary Sisters, Buckhannon, W.Va.; a sister-in-law, Gwen Frohnapfel of St. Joseph Settlement; four grandchildren, Lorri White and her husband, Tony, of Moundsville; Harley South and his wife, LeeAnne, of Moundsville, Sarah Myer and her husband, Gary, of Scio, Ohio, and Gary Yeager of Glen Easton; six great-grandchildren, Lauren and Lindsay Cook, Carley South, Samantha and Robert Myer, and Tristen White.
Friends received from 2-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, Lutes and Kirby-Vance Chapel, 118 Grant Avenue, Moundsville. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 2, 2005, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Seventh and Jefferson Avenue, Moundsville, with the Rev. Albert Driesch T.O.R. as celebrant. A vigil service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment in St. Joseph Settlement Cemetery. Emil Yeager was a resident of Shadyside, Belmont Co., OH at the time of his death.
