HELD RECEPTION
A reception honoring Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Schwallie and Mr. and Mrs. Elmer
Miller, newly weds was held Thursday evening.
Following an old-fashioned serenade a barn dance was held with about
two hundred present, guests being present from Fulda, Berne, Summerfield,
Batesville, Temperanceville and other places.
Messrs. Miller and Schwallie, formerly of Fulda, purchased the W. C. Guller
farm north of here last fall.

Sorces conflict on oldest child:
1) According to Cummings, the oldest child of Elmer and Sophia (Estadt) Miller is Bernadette M. Miller, born 19 May 1934, married to Alva Collins in 1953 with five children.
2) According to Snider, the first child of Elmer and Sophia is Donna Miller, born 19 May 1934 and married to Donald Fitzgerald in 1979.
Since the only birthdates match it is not clear if these are twins or the same person (e.g. Donna Bernadette Miller). Further research needs to be done.
