Neither Lucinda nor John lived with the children in 1930; it is presumed that they died before then.

SOURCE: Marietta Times . . . Marietta, OH . . . Oct 2002 Florence "Flo" Schoen Livesay, 89, of Marietta Route 1, Longacre Street, died at 12:30 a.m. Thursday (Oct. 3, 2002) at Heartland of Marietta. She was born April 9, 1913, in Washington County to Charles and Lena Ruppel Schoen. She was a graduate of Bloomfield High School. She was the first woman to retire from B.F. Goodrich. She went to work when the plant opened in July 1947 and retired in June 1970 after 22 years of service. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, American Legion Auxiliary and the O'Neill Senior Citizens Center. She was a Red Cross volunteer at Marietta Memorial Hospital, a volunteer driver for Franciscan Meals and a volunteer for Friendship School for retarded children for many years. She is survived by two nephews, Neil Schoen and his wife, Anita, of Belpre, and James Schoen and his wife, Peggy, of Pataskala; eight great-nieces and great-nephews; 14 great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews; and special friends, Judy Flannery, Frances Lankford, John and Bonnie Heslop, and Harriet and Ronald Metcalfe, all of Marietta, and Virginia Nichols of Williamstown. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Livesay, in 1977; her parents; one brother, Harry Schoen; and one sister, Glenda Thrasher. Services are at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Marietta with Monsignor Edward Kakascik and Father Paul Hrezo officiating. Entombment is in East Lawn Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at Hadley Funeral Home's Reno Chapel, where there will be a vigil service at 7 p.m. today. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Washington County.
