Edward Sebastian Brubach

Dates of birth and death (from Social Security Death Index) have not been proven. It has also not been proven taht Edward, son of Jacob, is the same person as Edward, husband of Anna Mary. In some cases, he is referred to as Edward Sebastian, and other sources refer to him as Edward Wilfrid. For this reason, questions remain about whether they are the same man.

In 1910, Edward S. Brubach (23) and his wife Anna M. (19) rented a farm in Center Township, Monroe County, Ohio. The Brubachs had been married for less than a year and had no children.

His birthdate is 18 Sep 1886, and he was a carpenter working for W. L. Heidy in Canton. He was married with two children. Edward was of medium height and build, with blue eyes and black hair. He was partly bald, and had a weak ankle.

At the time of the 1920 census Edward and Anna Brubach owned a mortgaged home at 343 Columbus Ave. in Canton, Ohio. Also living in the home were their children Francis (8), Wilfrid (4), Lucille (1). Only Francis attended school. Edward owned his own carpentry shop.

In 1930, Edward Brubach (42) owned a home worth $7000 at 343 Bedford Ave. NW in Canton, Stark Twp., Ohio. Living with him were his wife, Anna (39), children Francis (19), Wilfrid (15), Lucille (11) and Mary Jane (8), and his widowed mother-in-law Mary Biedenbach (64).
