Dean O. Maxwell

An article in the Zanesville Times Recorder on 15 Feb 1946 titled "Servicemen Are Released" listed Dean O. Maxwell, Malta Rte. 1 as one of several dozen local men who had been discharged from service. He served 30 months in the army; 21 of which were spent overseas.

From the Zanesville Signal, page 8, 11 May 1948:
MCCONNELSVILLE - Mr. and Mrs. Dean Maxwell
of near Ashtabula were week-end guests at the home of the
former’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Maxwell of Triadelphia.


Anna Margaret Biedenbach

WILL BE BRIDE ON JULY FIFTH
Miss Anna Margaret Biedenbach, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Ambrose Biedenbach, of Burkhart, and
Dean Maxwell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Maxell of
McConnelsville, announce their marriage which will
take place on July 5.
It will be at 8:30 o’clock on Saturday morning
July 5 in St. Joseph’s Catholic church, Burkhart. Rev.
Father Schiele, pastor of the church will officiate. Miss
Lucille Biedenbach, sister of the bride, and James Kuhn,
of Canton, will be the attendants.

Anna Biedenbach Maxwell's Social Security number was issued in Oklahoma prior to 1951.

The following article appeared in the Zanesville Signal, page 1, 28 Mar 1957:
MAN INDICTED FOR ATTACK
McCONNELSVILLE - The Morgan county grand
jury yesterday indicted three men, one of them on charges
of assault with intent to rape and pointing firearms.
He is Glenn Raber, 27, of Cambridge, arrested last
January by Deputy Sheriff Don Bailey who said he had
attempted to criminally assault Mrs. Dean Maxwell, 24, of
Route 2.
The deputy said Raber went to the woman’s home
to complete work of installing a clothes dryer and attempted
to attack her when he found she was alone in the house. Her
husband was at work at McConnellsville.
Mrs. Maxwell told the deputy she was threatened by
a .22 caliber pistol and was struck with the weapon on the side
of her head while fighting off Raber. Raber was arrested later
at Cambridge.
