Ralph C. Henderson

Ralph C. Henderson, age 88, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Wednesday, November 5, 2008, at Summit Acres Nursing Home, Caldwell. He was born August 17, 1920, in Jewett, Ohio, son of the late Paul L. and Margaret Cole Henderson. He attended high school in Jewett and Wheeling, West Virginia, and he attended Bethany College in Bethany, West Virginia. He was a World War II Army veteran, having served as a sergeant in Europe. He was formerly employed as a retail salesman for Nickels Bakery in Martins Ferry, West Virginia, and he was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church in Caldwell, and the former Caldwell Lions Club. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Madelyn Korngiver Henderson, who died in 1991; one sister, Martha Mary Henderson; two brothers, Leroy and Lynn Henderson; and one step-son, Charles B. Lori. Surviving are his second wife, Midge Hill Lori Henderson, whom he married in August 1992; two sons, Paul M. ''Marty'' (Ladora ''Letty'') Henderson of Wheeling, West Virginia and Michael Lynn Henderson of Silver Spring, Maryland; one step-daughter, Diann (Rusty) Keith of Caldwell; one step-son, Roman B. (Judy) Lori of Caldwell; 2 grandsons; 8 step-grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 9 step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Friday, November 7, 2008, from 5-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where a Christian Scripture service will be observed at 8PM. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be observed Saturday, November 8th at 10:30AM at St. Stephen Catholic Church, Caldwell, with Rev. Fr. Wayne Morris as celebrant. Additional visitation will be held on Sunday, November 9, 2008 from 1-3 and 6-8 PM at Kepner Funeral Home, 36th & Jacob Streets, Wheeling, WV. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated on Monday, November 10, 2008 at St. John Catholic Church in Benwood, WV with the Rev. Fr. Joseph Hayden as celebrant. Entombment will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Wheeling

Alma Irene Elliott, of Canton, OH, died on Sunday August 26, 2001, in the presence of family and friends and under the gentle and tender care of Laurels' nursing staff. Alma Irene Elliott slipped peacefully from life to death to life eternal. Born in Noble County, OH on June 2, 1917, she had been a resident of Canton since 1937. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Milford who died in April of 1987; her parents, Frank and Mary Teeters; and two brothers, John and Doyle Teeters. Her absence will be mourned by those who cherished her presence, including her two stepsons and daughters-in-law, Milford and Diane Elliott of Canton and David and Sherry Elliott of Philadelphia, PA; her sister, Zola McKee of McConnelsville, OH; brother and sister-in-law, Roy and Eleanor Teeters; and niece, Mary Barbara Teeters, all of Zanesville, OH; there are numerous relatives, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends who showered her with their attention over the course of her long illness. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. in the Reed Funeral Home. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends and family may call one hour before the services on Wednesday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers contributions may be given in her memory to the American Lung Association.

Fidelia Frances Seifert

Obituary:
Fidelia Frances (Seifert) Scheetz, age 87, died Tuesday, May 13, 2003, at House of Loreto, Canton. She was born September 23, 1915, in Massillon, and had lived most of her life in Jackson Township.
She was a graduate of Canton Beauty College, owned and operated Fidelia's Beauty Shop and retired in 1995. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, St. Michael's Senior Citizens, and St. Michael's Ladies Guild. She is survived by son, Glenn T. Scheetz, son and daughter-in-law, Roy J. and Carole Scheetz, daughter-in-law, Carolyn Scheetz all of Jackson Twp., two brothers and sisters-in-law, Joseph and Mary Seifert of Massillon and Thomas and Martha Seifert of Jackson Twp., sister-in-law, Annabelle Seifert of Canton; seven grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband, Leroy H. Scheetz (died 1959), her parents, Martin and Emma (Frank) Seifert; two sisters, Eileen Eckroate and Elizabeth Scheetz; brother, Martin Seifert, and a great granddaughter, Ellen Stuffel.
Mass of Christian burial will be at St. Michael's Catholic Church on Thursday, May 15, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Michael Seifert celebrant. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Massillon. Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. Wednesday at Heitger Funeral Service - Jackson Chapel. Memorials may be made to House of Loreto, 2812 Harvard Avenue, Canton, Ohio 44709. Barbara A. (Paumier) Schumacher, age 58, of Louisville, passed away Saturday
May 17th, 1997/ Barbara was born in Canton and was a graduate of Central Catholic
High School and Mercy School of Nursing.
Survivors include her mother, Mary C. Paumier of Louisville, husband John P.
Schumacher of Columbus; two sons, Mark Schumacher of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and
Matthew Schumacher of Louisville; a sister, Mrs. Henry (Caroline) Scheetz; a brother,
David Paumier of California; and many other beloved friends and family. She was
preceded in death by her father, Clarence J. Paumier.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Tuesday at 10:00 p.m. in St. Louis
Catholic Church in Louisville with Rev. Father Frederick Slaven officiating. Burial was
in the church cemetery. Friends were welcome after 3:00 p.m. on Monday afternoon
with family present from 6-9 p.m. at the Paquelet-Falk Funeral Home. Memorial
contributions may be made to the St. Louis Church Building Fund, 218 N. Chapel
Street, Louisville, 44641 and Southgate School, 3041 Cleveland Ave. S. 44707.
