Obituary: Zanesville Times Recorder 22 Apr 1964

Mrs. Barbara McKee
CALDWELL -- Mrs. Barbara Ackley McKee, 80, died
Monday afternoon [20 Apr 1964] at her home on Cumber-
land St. here. She was born Aug. 28 1883, in the Fulda
community, a daughter of Sebastian and Caroline Schoep-
pner Schockling, and was a lifelong resident of Noble
County.
Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Florence Bridgman,
Mrs. Emma Estadt, Miss Thelma Ackley, Mrs. Mary Michel,
and Mrs. Mildred Ogle, all of Caldwell; a son, James R.
Ackley of Caldwell; five sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Heppner,
Mrs. Elijah Crum, and Mrs. Mildred Archer, all of Caldwell,
Mrs. Stella Noll of 8375 Mill Drive, Zanesville, and Miss
Anna Schockling also of Zanesville; 24 grandchildren and
four great-grandchildren. Her first husband, James William
Ackley died May 27, 1922, and her second, Ernest McKee,
in 1958.
Requiem High Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Thursday
at Stephen's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Olive Cemetery.
Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. today at Estadt Funeral
Home here. Friends may call at the funeral home.


Mary Elizabeth Michael

The following wedding announcement appeared in The Times Recorder (Zanesville, OH) newspaper on February 15, 1967: MILLER MICHAEL WEDDING Miss Mary Elizabeth Michael, daughter of Mrs. and Mrs.
James B. Michael of Caldwell, route 1, and Louis James
Miller, son of Albert Miller of Caldwell, route 5, were married
Saturday morning, Jan. 28, in St. Mary's Catholic Church in
Fulda. Rev. J. J. Donaldson officiated. The bride was attended by her cousin, Miss Kathy Jones
of Zanesville. Ronald Miller was his brother's best man.
Ushers were Robert Miller, also a brother of the bridegroom,
and Ted Glidden. A reception was held at St. Mary's Parish Hall with the bride's
sister, Mrs. Linda Leasure assisting. The bride is a graduate of Caldwell High School. The bride-
groom is a graduate of Caldwell High School and is employed
at Westinghouse Corp., Byesville. He is a member of St. Stephen's
Catholic Church, Caldwell.


Linda Lou Michael

MISS MICHAEL MARRIED TO GEORGE W. LEASURE
Miss Linda Lou Michael, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. James B. Michael of Caldwell Route 1, was married
Saturday, Sept. 24 to George W. (Bill) Leasure, son of Mr.
and Mrs. George Leasure of Caldwell Route 1.
The ceremony was read in St. Mary's Catholic
church in Fulda by Rev. J. J. Donaldson. Miss Bette Mae
Michael, sister of the bride, was maid of honor, and brides-
maids were Miss Kathy Jones and Alice Michael, cousins
of the bride. Peggy Sue Baker was the flower girl.
Larry Leasure was his nephew’s best man, and
ushers were Kenny Michael, brother of the bride, and Donald
Jones, Cousin of the bride. David Michael, brother of the
bride, was ring bearer. A reception was held in the parish hall.
The bride was graduated from Caldwell High School
and Bliss Business College. She is employed by the Hoover
Company at North Canton. Mr. Leasure is a graduate of Sum-
merfield High School and is employed by Diebold Safe and
Lock Company, Canton.
The couple is living in North Canton.

George and Linda Leasure were living in Louisville, Stark County, Ohio in 2005 at the time of Linda's father's death.
