Obituary:

McCONNELSVILLE - Charles M. Paulus, 86, of 243 E.
Union Ave., McConnelsville, died at 9 a.m. Wednesday,
June 8, 2005, at his home.
Born Jan. 28, 1919, in Woodsfield, he was a retired civil
engineering technician for the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
He was a member of St. James Catholic Church in McCon-
nelsville, former member of M&M Kiwanis Club and a Navy
veteran of World War II.
Surviving are a daughter, Charlene (Anthony) Oaks of
Houston, Texas; four grandchildren, Sarah, Anthony, John
and Eleanor; a sister, Emma Lucille (William) Tyndall of
Westerville.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Philomena
Schmacher; his father, Albert Paulus; his wife, Wilma E.
Schott Paulus, who died Nov. 4, 1996.
Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
Sunday, June 12, at Miller-Huck Funeral Home, McCon-
nelsville, with Christian Wake services at 8 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday,
June 13, 2005, at St. James Catholic Church with Father
Paul Walker as celebrant. Burial will be in McConnels-
ville Cemetery with military rites by Morgan County
Veterans Council.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. James
Catholic Women's Club, 257 East Bell Ave., McConnels-
ville, OH 43756.

Dennis Paul Burk

Obituary:

Dennis P. Burk, age 44, of Canton, passed away Friday September 1, 2000 at
his home after a courageous battle with cancer. He was a 1974 graduate of
Canton South High School and a 1976 graduate of Stark Technical College. He
was a 20 year employee of Babcock and Wilcox where he was a technical
graphics designer. Dennis was a basketball official for the Ohio High School
Athletic Association and assistant golf coach for the Canton South golf team
and former coach for Y.M.C.A. basketball and little league. He was an avid
golfer. Preceded in death by his father, Daryl Burk; grandparents, Aaron and
Emma Burk; Ralph Wyatt and Helen Betz. Dennis is survived by his wife, Mary
(Schott) Burk whom he married October 8, 1977; and two sons, Brian and Aaron
all of the home. Also surviving are his mother, Lela Burk; his brother Dale
(Amy) Burk; and nieces, Jennifer and Emma Burk; and special aunt, Erma
Booth. He also leaves behind Cloe, his faithful feline. Funeral services
will be Wednesday September 6, at 1 p.m. in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral
Home on South Cleveland Ave. with Rev. Fr. Michael Seifert officiating.
Burial in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Calling hours will be Tuesday 6-9 p.m.
