Kevin Schob

Obituary from the Zanesville Times Recorder Dec 5, 2004 CALDWELL -- Kevin Edward Schob, 49, of Caldwell, died Friday evening, Dec. 3, 2004, at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center in Cambridge following a long illness. He was born July 4, 1955, in Marietta, a son of Dorothy Garrett Schob of Caldwell and the late Cecil Edward Schob who died in 1962. He was a former employee of Ames Hardwoods in Dexter City and was truck driver for several
years. He was Methodist by faith. In addition to his father he is preceded in death by a sister Wilma Jean Russell. Surviving, in addition to his mother, is daughter Jeanne Marie (Tim) Brown of Caldwell; sisters Doreen Clark of Dexter City, Vicki Brock of Sarahsville, Kelly (Dough) Bettinger and Tina Schob of Caldwell; a half-sister Linda
Gebhart of Zanesville and half-brother Charles (Donna) Schob of Marietta;
three grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call Monday, Dec. 6, 2004, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at McVay-Perkins Funeral Homes in Caldwell where services will be held on
Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2004, at 1 p.m. with the Rev. William Pickenpaugh officiating. Burial will follow at Lund Cemetery in Macksburg, Ohio.


Tina G. Schob

Obituary:
CALDWELL - Tina G. Schob, 40, of Caldwell, died
Sunday afternoon, May 22, 2005, at her residence
after a long illness.
Surviving are a daughter, Tressa Schob; her mother,
Dorothy Garrett Schob West; three sisters, Doreen
Clark, Vicki Brock and Kelly (Doug) Bettinger; a half
sister, Linda Gebhart; and a half brother, Charles
(Donna) Schob.
Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9
p.m. today, May 24, at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home,
Caldwell, where services will be at 1 p.m. Wednes-
day, May 25, 2005, with the Rev. Ken Hyland officiat-
ing. Interment will be in Lund Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Kelly
R. Bettinger Benefit, c/o The Farmers and Merchants
Bank, 430 North St., Caldwell, OH 43724, in Tina's
memory.


Victor Gerord

Victor and Anna moved to the Pittsburgh area. They had one adopted daughter. No possible matches were found in any census index. (Similar names were searched.)


Blaine Anderson Warren

On September 12, 1918, 20 year old, unmarried, Blaine Anderson Warren of Elba, Washington Co., Ohio registered for the military draft. According to his draft registration card he was born on April 11, 1898 and worked as a section hand for the Pennsylvania railroad Company in Cambridge, Guernsey Co., Ohio. His nearest relative is given as Emma Warren of Elba, Ohio. His physical description is given as medium height, slender build, with brown hair and eyes.

According to the 1920 census, unmarried Blain Warren lived with his mother, Emma, and his brother, Glen, on a farm in Aurelius Twp., Washington Co., Ohio. This contradicts the 1919 wedding date for Blaine and Ann Estadt given by Snyder.

In 1930, 31 year old Blaine A. Warren lived with his wife, Anna R. (29) and daughters, Juanita L (7), Betty C. (6) and Marry L. (4 yrs 5 mos) in a rented home (rent $10/mo.) at 65 Porter Avenue, Zanesville, Muskingum Co., Ohio. Based on census data, Blaine and Anna had been married for 9 years. Juanita attended school and Blaine worked in a tile factory. All members of the household were born in Ohio.


Blaine Warren remarried after his first wife's death. This announcement appeared on page 7 of The Zanesville [OH] Signal on 11 Apr 1945:
WEDDING ANNOUNCED
Miss Grace Meier of Pine street and Blaine A. Warren of Sonora were married
Saturday evening in the home of the officiating minister, Rev. J. H. Kinney.

The following divorce notice appeared in The Zanesville (OH) Signal newspaper on September 22, 1945: DIVORCES GRANTED Grace Warren from Blaine A. Warren, gross neglect.

The following note appeared on 13 Feb 1964 on page 7 A of The Zanesville Times Recorder under the Adamsville section of "News Briefs from Neighboring Communities":
Mr. and Mrs.Blaine Warren of Lower Salem spent the weekend at the homes of
Mr.and Mrs. Walter Wisecarver and daughter Linda and Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Wise-
carver and family.


Anna Rosa Estadt

According to the 1920 census, unmarried Anna Estadt lived with her parents, John and Molly Estadt, and her siblings on a farm in Jefferson Twp., Noble Co., Ohio. This contradicts the 1919 wedding date for Blaine and Ann Estadt given by Snyder.

Anna Estadt Warren's obituary appeared in The Zanesville [OH] Signal on 28 Aug 1944 (pg 2)
WEDNESDAY FUNERAL FOR MRS. WARREN
Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Warren, 44, of the Adamsville road, who died
Saturday night in Good Samaritan hospital, will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon
at the residence with Rev. C. M. Laing, pastor of the First United Presbyterian church,
officiating.
Mrs. Warren, who had been in failing health for a number of years, was admitted to the
hospital a week ago. She was born in Dexter City, but had resided in this vicinity for 24
years.
She is survived by her husband, Blaine Warren, two daughters, Betty and May Warren,
both of the home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Estadt of near East Fultonham; a sister,
Mrs. Clara Miller of Pinkerton Lane, and two brothers, Clyde Estadt of White Cottage and
Edmund Estadt of Zanesville Route 2. One son, Walton, and a daughter, Juanita, preceded
her in death.
The body was removed to the residence this afternoon from the Dean funeral home.

Juanita Louise Warren

According to the Ohio Death Index, Juanita L. Warren died on April 12, 1931 in Muskingum Co., Ohio. This contradicts the date of 1929 given by Snyder.


Clyde Henry Estadt

The following engagement announcement appeared in the Zanesville Times Recorder on 27 May 1944, accompanied by a photo of the bride-to-be:

Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Leasure of Sonora, route 1, have announced the
engagement of their daughter, Bernice Loretha, to Clyde Henry Estadt,
son of Mr. and Mrs. John Estadt of East Fultonham, route 1.
Miss Leasure graduated from Salem-Adams rural high school in 1941
and was formerly employed at the Mosaic Tile company. She is a mem-
ber of Salem Methodist church.
Mr. Estadt is a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church and is employed
at the Emery-Mamel coal mine.
The wedding will take place Wednesday, June 21 in Zanesville.


According to the Ohio online death certificate index, Clyde Estadt was a machine operator in the coal mining industry.


Bernice Loretha Leasure

The following wedding announcement appeared in The Times Recorder (Zanesville, OH) newspaper on June 26, 1944: Attired in a white silk organza wedding gown and carrying a bouquet of white roses and gardenias, Miss Bernice Loretha Leasure, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Leasure of Sonora, route 1, became the bride of Clyde Henry Estadt, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Estadt of East Fultonham, route 1, Wednesday afternoon. Rev. J. H. Kinney performed the ceremony at his home. Mrs. Bera Gale was her sister's only attendant and Edmund Estadt, brother of the groom, was best man. The couple will make their home in White Cottage.

Floyd Leasure

Floyd Leasure’s obituary was published in the Coshocton [OH] Tribune on 8 Mar 1973:
Adamsville - Floyd Leasure, 78, of Adamsville Route 1, died at 3:45 p.m. Wednesday at his home. He had been in failing health the past year, but death was unexpected. He spent most of his life in the Adamsville vicinity where he was a farmer.
Born in Meigs Township of Muskingum County, May 15, 1894, he was a son of Alvin and Lillie Belle Imlay Leasure.
Mr. Leasure was a member of Adamsville Community Progressive Council.
Survivors include his widow, the former Carrie Marshall, whom he married April 14, 1920; four daughters, Mrs. William (Lillie Mae) Kennison of Adamsville, Mrs. Clyde (Bernice) Estadt of South Zanesville Route 7, Mrs. Kawrence (Bertha) Gale of 432 Smithfield Ave., Zanesville, and Mrs. Dean (Mildred) Wadsworth; a sister, Mrs. Cora Gibbens of Route 5; a brother, Harley Leasure on Route 8, six grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Friends may call at Shirer and Son Funeral Home in Adamsville 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.


Edmund Henry Estadt

Edmund and Clarkie Estadt had no children.


Beatrice Mautz

The following wedding announcement attpeared in the Zanesville Times Recorder on 6 Oct 1935:

MAUTZ-ESTADT WEDDING HELD SEPT 19
Mr. and Mrs. Carl Mautz of the Coopermill road announce
the marriage of their daughter , Beatrice, to Edmund Estadt,
son of Mr. and Mrs. John Estadt, Zanesville route 2.
The ceremony took place Sept. 19 at Wheeling with the
ceremony at 5 p.m. The only attendants were Mr. and Mrs.
Ralph Martin of Columbus. The newlyweds will make their
home on the Coopermill road in the near future.
