BANNS PUBLISHED
CALDWELL -- First banns were published Sunday at Lore City and Caldwell
for Miss Mary Banko, Cambridge, and Bernard Estadt, this city. The latter is
the owner of a general store at Crooked Tree and a son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry
Estadt, Caldwell.

ANNOUNCE MARRIAGE
Miss Mary Ambro, Lore City, and Bernard R. Estadt, Caldwell, were united
in marriage Thursday morning at St. Peter-Paul’s Catholic church, Lore City.
The bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Estadt, Caldwell, a graduate
of the local high school and affiliate with the M-K company. He managed a general
store in Crooked Tree for two years.
The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Ambro, Lore City, graduate of the
high school there and is employed in Cambridge.
Following the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents
and Thrusday evening the bridegroom’s parents held open house in honor of the
newlyweds.

Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Estadt, newlyweds, were honored with a miscellaneous
shower Thursday evening at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Estadt,
South Cumberland street. Mrs. Estadtis the former Mary Ambro, Lore City.

Grace Marie Wagner

Grace Marie Estadt age 84 of Canton went to the
presence of her Lord on July 15, 2005, following a
courageous battle with Lou Gehrig’s Disease (ALS).
She was born on March 8, 1921 to the late Perry and
Docia Wagner, and grew up on a family farm near
Crooked Tree, OH. She then moved to Canton, and
after WW II she married her husband, the late James
Estadt. She was a homemaker, a member of West-
minster Presbyterian Church for over 50 years, and
an original member of the Perry Women’s Club. Marie
was a life long-learner and artist who enjoyed bird
watching, china painting, collecting butterflies, and
gardening.
Besides her parents and husband she was also
preceded in death by two sisters, Faye Hinchliffe and
Edna Shilling, two brothers, Denver and Glenn Wag-
ner, an infant brother, and one son, Jeffrey Estadt.
She is survived by two children, Denise Estadt of Can-
ton, and John (Kathy) Estadt of Germantown, TN; three
granddaughters, Lauren, Kristin, and Alli Estadt of
Germantown, TN; one brother, Boyd (Virginia) Wagner
of Dexter City, OH; daughter-in-law, Karen Ohde of
Tulsa, OK, and numerous nieces and nephews. She
is also survived by many special friends whose lives
she touched by her love and caring.
A memorial celebration of her life will be held on
Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Westminster Presbyterian
Church with Rev. William Pawson, and Rev. Allan
Brown officiating.
It was Marie’s wishes that her body be donated for
research of a cure for Lou Gehrig’s disease (ALS). In
lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made
c/o Marie Estadt for ALS research. Contribution
envelopes will be available at Monday's memorial
