Obituary:

Andrew Clarence Archer Jr. Rogers Group employee Andrew Clarence Archer Jr., 43, of Briceville, died Monday, Nov. 1, 1999, in Knoxville of injuries sustained in a work-related accident in Knox County. Mr. Archer had been an employee of The Rogers Group for 17 years. He was an equipment operator.
He was born in Florence, Ohio, on May 27, 1956, the son of Andrew Clarence and Dorla Thompson Archer, who survive him. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Mr. Archer was a member of Jarnigan Chapel Baptist Church of Clinton. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Sheila Seiber Archer; three children, Robert Scott Archer, Jessica Archer and Patricia Archer, all of Briceville; two brothers, Steven Archer and Jeff Archer and his wife, Sarah, all of Caldwell, Ohio; and two sisters, Deborah Neff and her husband, Shawn, and Sharon Moonney and her husband, Steve, all of Caldwell.
Mr. Archer is also survived by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Ellen Kelley of Briceville; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Harold and Debra Kelley and Raymond Eugene and Tami Kelley, all of Oliver Springs, and Cheryl and Marvin Seiber of Waleska, Ga.; and by several nieces and nephews, Brooke, Lesley, Alex, Kelly, Kendra, Stacy, Stephanie, Troy, Michael, Adam, Austin, Dakota, Travis and Jammie.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 4, at Graves Gap Baptist Church with the Rev. Luke Kidwell and the Rev. Johnny Randolph officiating. Burial will follow at the Brown Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 3, at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Lake City
