Kathryn Ann Estadt

The following wedding announcement appeared in the Zanesville Times Recorder on 26 Apr 1968:
CALDWELL CHURCH SETTING FOR SMITH-ESTADT VOWS
Miss Kathryn Ann Estadt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence J. Estadt of Caldwell and WOC Geoffrey Rand, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Smith of Amherst, were married Saturday morning in St. Stephen Catholic Church in Caldwell. Msgr. Henry A. Estadt of Columbus, uncle of the bride, officiated.
The bride was escorted by her father and was attended by her cousin, Miss Margaret Estadt of Columbus, as maid of honor, and by Miss Sandra Buckey of Caldwell and Miss Trish Seath of Stratford, Ont., as bridesmaids.
Charles Thomas of Caldwell was Mr. Smith’s best man. Ushers were Larry Cecil of Columbus and Timothy smith of Amherst, brother of the bridegroom.
A reception was held in the church dining room. Aides were Miss Molly Brown, Miss Gloria Brown, Miss Sandra Cordell and Miss Barbara Estadt.
The new Mrs. Smith is a graduate of Caldwell High School and is a junior at Kent State University where she is enrolled in the college of arts and sciences and is a member of Alpha Phi Sorority.
Mr. Smith is a graduate of Caldwell High School and attended Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, Va., and Kent State University. He is a warrant officer candidate in the U.S. Army taking advanced helicopter training at Fort Rucker, Ala. The couple will live at Fort Richer until June when WOC Smith’s training is completed.
