Randy Harold Archer

The following wedding announcement appeared in the Chronical Telegram newspaper, Elyria, Ohio on September 20, 1974: TANI LYNN CROSBY WEDS RANDY ARCHER Tani Lynn Crosby and Randy Harold Archer spoke
their marriage vows in Grace Lutheran Church in a
Sept. 7 ceremony. the Rev. Dr. Peter Mealwitz
officiated at 7:30 p.m. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D.
Lyle Crosby, 296 Hilliard Rd. Mr. Archer's parents
are Mr. and Mrs. Harold Archer, 1048 N. Pase-
dena Ave. The bridal couple wrote their own vows. the
bride carried a handkerchief made by her great-
grandmother, carried also by her mother and
sister in their weddings. The bridal gown was made by the bride's
mother and the attendants fashioned their own
gowns. The bride's wedding band was set with
diamonds from a ring which belonged to the
bridegroom's great grandmother. Wedding music was played by Richard Pro-
chazka at the organ. Wendy Haywood was matron of honor for her
sister. Kim Martin was maid of honor. Stacey
Crosby and Patty Carlson were bridesmaids.
Junior bridemaids were Danielle Crosby and
Mary Archer. Karl Garrard served as best man. Kevin Moore,
Larry Archer and Bill Hammond ushered guests.
the bridegroom's nephew, Paul Archer, was ring
bearer. Kevin Crosby, brother of the bride, was
acolyte. The 8 p.m. reception was held in the church
parlors. The bride was graduated in 1973 from Elyria
High School from which her husband was grad-
uated in 1973. Mr. Archer is employed by Schultz
Furniture, Oberlin. Bridal showers were given by Patty Carlson,
Marie and Mary Archer, Kim Martin and Wendy
Haywood.
