Anna Catharina Huckenstein


Catharina Huckenstein Zelz was a widow when she and Emilia emigrated to America. It is believed that she married Charles Albert sometime between 1855 and 1860.


Dale Oscar Wagner

At the time of the 1930 census, 27 year-old Dale O. Wagner rented a home for $25 a month at 1530 Wheeling Ave. in Zanesville. Other members of the household were his wife of 7 years, Clotilda E. (30), and their children, James E. (5), Rita J. (4), John W. (3), and Marguerite (2). Everyone in the home was a native of Ohio, as were their parents. Dale worked as an electrician at a rolling mill. The family did not own a radio set.

The following anniversary announcement appeared in the Zanesville Times Recorder on 20 Sep 1973:
MR., MRS. DALE O. WAGNER TO CELEBRATE ANNIVERSARY
Mr. and Mrs. Dale O. Wagner of 1246 Eastman street will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday. In honor of the occasion an anniversary Mass will be conducted at 8 a.m. in St. Thomas Catholic Church where the Wagners are members. Later in the day a family dinner will be held at Nichol’s Restaurant.
Mrs. Wagner is the former Clotilda Archer, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward P. Archer of Lewisville. Mr. Wagner’s parents were Mr. and Mrs. Herman Wagner.
The couple has seven children, James if Chillicothe, John William of Brookside drive; David, Corbin drive, Mrs. Blaine (Rita) Warren, Adamsville; Mrs. Glenn (Marguerite) Mangin, East Fultonham; Mrs. Gerald (Mary) Ellis, Gahanna., and Mrs. Ray (Joanne) Andrews of 163 Fox avenue. There are 23 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Wagner is a retired Armco Steel employe.
