William E. Weisend, age 77, of East Canton, died Friday evening in AultmanHospital following a brief illness. Son of the late Joseph and Erma(Comfort) Weisend. He was a life resident of the Louisville and East Cantonareas retiring in 2000 after 50 years of service as an attorney in EastCanton. He truly enjoyed his hobby of farming. Member of St. Peter'sCatholic Church, Canton, East Canton Rotary Club, K of C, Louisville and theStark County Bar Association. He was a World War II Navy veteran. Survivedby his wife, Therese A. (Brahler) to whom he was married 55 years; two sonsand daughters-in-law, Dennis and Gail Weisend of North Canton, Steve and SueWeisend of Louisville; two daughters and sons-in-law, Dianne and Dave Dollof North Canton, Susan and Jerry Judy, Jr. of Louisville; 28 grandchildren;15 great-grandchildren; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Helen and BillKlemens of Louisville, Mary Kurtsey of Louisville, and Arelene Bruneau ofFlorida. Private family services will be in the Myers-Kreighbaum-SandersFuneral Home in East Canton with interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Maximo.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of yourchoice.
