William E. Fischer

In 1910, 18 year old William F. Fischer lived with his parents and siblings in the family's home at 2356 Wood St. in Wheeling, West Virginia. William worked as a marker in a wholesale store.

At the time of the 1920 census, William Fischer and his wife, Jessie, lived with Jessie's widowed mother, Dora Pell, at 4003 Jacob St. in Wheeling. William worked as a salesman in a clothing store. There were no young children in the household. William, Jessie, and her parents were all natives of West Virginia. William's parents were born in Ohio, according to the census.

In 1930, William E. (43) and Jessie M. (41) Fischer rented a house for $15 a month on the National Road in Wheeling with their 16 year old daughter Alberta. William worked as a fireman in a steel mill.

There are some discrepancies between the family in the 1930 census and the one in the census ten years earlier: There is a 16 year old daughter who was not present in the house in 1920. The age difference between William and Jessie has dropped from six years to two. In the 1930 census, Jessie is from Ohio, and her parents are from West Virginia. William's parents were natives of Germany, according to the 1930 census.

According to Muth & Fox, William and Jessie Fisher had two children, but their names were not known.


Alberta Fischer

In 1930, 16 year old Alberta Fischer lived with her parents in Wheeling. She was employed as a stenographer.


Albert F. Fisher

In 1910, 20 year old Albert F. Fishcer lived with his parents and younger siblings in the family's home at 2356 Wood St. in Wheeling, West Virginia. Albert worked as a wrapper in a wholesale store.

According toMuth and Fox, Albert Fisher had three children. There names are not known.


Dora

In 1920, widow Dora Pell (58) owned a home at 4003 Jacob St. in Wheeling, Ohio County, West Virginia, where she lived with her son Carroll (19) and her son-in-law and daughter, William and Jessie Fischer. Dora was not employed, but Carroll worked as a cable splicer for the telephone company.


Donald Ambrose Schwallie

Donald Schwallie was a Catholic school teacher, and worked in the juvenile court system. He and Emily had no children. Last known address (1970): 1289 Idlewood, Lakewood, Ohio.
