Earl James Schaad

The following article appeared in The Times Recorder (Zanesville, OH) newspaper on August 25, 1951 CLASSIFY CATTLE ON SCHAAD FARM John and Earl Schaad of Stockport, have recently had their
herd of registered Holstein-Friesian dairy cattle classified for
type (body conformation) under the official type classification
program conducted by The Holstein-Friesian Association of
America, national organization of Holstein-Friesian cattle
breeders. Official inspector was C. L. Miller of Medina. this was the
first time the herd has been classified under the official pro-
gram, maintained in an effort to improve still further the
Holstein breed. Of eight eligible animals, five are designated "Good Plus,"
two "Good," and one "Fair."

The following real estate transfer appeared in The Times Recorder (Zanesville, OH) newspaper on September 21, 1953 John F. and Margaret Schaad to Earl J Schaad, 1/2 interest
165 acres, Stockport-Windson township.

Earl J. Schaad won the Farmers Achievement Award presented by the Malta-McConnelsville Kiwanis Club in 1968.

The following birth announcement appeared in The Zanesville Signal newspaper on July 15, 1957 Mr. and Mrs. Earl Schaad are the parents of a son born July 5 at Memorial hospital, Marietta.


Janice Greuey

The following wedding announcement appeared in The Times Recorder (Zanesville, OH) newspaper on August 20, 1977 (A picture of the bride accompanied the article): JANICE GREUEY BRIDE OF JOSEPH D. SCHAAD Miss Janice Elaine Greuey and Joseph Dean Schaad
exchanged vows Friday evening before the altar of St.
Bernard's Catholic church in Beverly. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Schaad
of Waterford Rt. 1. The bride, the daughter of Mrs. Jeannine Greuey of
McConnelsville Rt. 1 and Maynard Greuey of Jasper,
Ala., wore an organza gown with high lace collar and
bishop sleeves edged with ruffles. The pinafore bodice
was edged with Cluny lace and seed pearls and rows
of matching lace trimmed the full skirt and the flounce
of the chapel-length train. Her three-tiered veil was held by a bandeau of Venise
lace. The maid of honor, Miss Cindy Scott, and bridesmaids,
Mrs. Paul Eberle of Columbus and Mrs. Robert Bellville
of McConnelsville, sisters of the bride, and Miss Kathy
Wogan of Beverly, wore halter dresses of blue, peach,
mint green and yellow with matching floral capes. Mr. Schaad's cousin, John Schaad, attended him.
Seating the guests were Dan, Chris and Paul Schaad,
brothers of the bridegroom. Heide Schaad, niece of the bridegroom, and Mark
Eberle, nephew of the bride were the flower girl and
ring bearer. Aides at a reception were Mrs. roger Newsom, Mrs.
Russel Duskey, Mrs. rick Fox, Mrs. Gordon Armstrong,
the Misses Kathy Gifford and Janet Little, and Mrs.
John Salembene. Mrs. Schaad, a graduate of Morgan High School,
attends Ohio University-Zanesville, where she is en-
rolled in the nursing program. She is a member of
the church in which she was married. Mr. Schaad is a graduate of Waterford High School
and is employed by his father in dairy farming. After a trip to Niagara Falls, Mr. and Mrs. Schaad
will live in Waterford.
