Kenneth Charles Schaad, 57, of Bosner Ridge Road, Lowell, died Monday, July 20, 2009, at his home. He was born April 4, 1952 in Marietta to Walter F. and Marcella Highland Schaad. He was a 1970 graduate of Marietta High School.

Kenny served eight years in the National Guard and had been a supervisor with Timer Warner Cable for 26 years. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. He enjoyed golfing, deer hunting and his dog, Isabella. Kenny is survived by his wife, C. Kay Vannoy Schaad, they were married on October 9, 1971; also by two daughters, Tiffany Keffer (Eric) of Marietta and Emily Camp (Tim) of Lowell; his son, Joseph Schaad (Amanda) of Vallejo, CA; grandchildren, Cameron and Brooklyn Camp, Ella Keffer and Anthony Schaad; two brothers, Jim Schaad (Anna) and Tom Schaad (Janet), all of Marietta; sisters, Elizabeth Schaad (Steve Story) of Pomeroy and Judith Doll (Ralph) of Virginia; his father-in-law, Ed Vannoy of Marietta, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Becky Doan, and his mother-in-law, Judy Vannoy.

Funeral Liturgy, with Mass, will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 24, 2009, at St. Mary Catholic Church with the Rev. Msgr. John Michael Campbell as celebrant. Friends may call on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home. There will be a Vigil Service at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Burial will be in New St. Mary’s Cemetery. Donations may be made to the St. Mary Restoration Fund, 506 Fourth Street, Marietta, Ohio 45750.
