In 1900, "George Carnet" owned a home in Wheeling, Ohio County, West Virginia. Living with him were his wife, Lena (39) and sons John A.(15) and Geo. E. (4). John attended school. George was employed by a soft-drink manufacturer.

In 1910, George Cornett (48) and his wife of 26 years, Minnie (48) owned a mortgaged home at 174 Eighteenth Street in the 4th Ward of Wheeling, WV. Also living in the household were their children Edward (14) and Mary (8), both of whom attended school. George worked as a confectioner.

Magdalene Burkhard

Sources conflict on date of birth.
Delores Snider has 7 Oct 1860.
Netti Nau gives 18 May 1861.
1900 census says May 1861.

The 1900 census states that "Lena Carnet" had given birth to two children, both of whom were still living in 1900. The 1910 census says that all three of her children were alive at the time of the census. This conflicts with the notes of Sister M. Anna Hartman, who has a child named Dale in the family.
