Mary Agnes Cornett

CALDWELL — Mary A. (Cornett) Saling Scott, 72, of Newark, died Tuesday (April 3, 2001) at Licking Memorial Hospital.
She was born Jan. 20, 1929, daughter of the late Harry and Rose Cornett. Mrs. Scott was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Felix Saling, on May 15, 1961. They were married June 26, 1948. Also deceased is a brother, Paul Cornett.

She leaves her husband, Walter Scott Jr.; two daughters, Rosemarie Scott and Diana Scott-Hoover; four sons, Larry (Cindy) Saling, Donald (Kay) Saling, Paul (Rhonda) Saling and Walter Charles (Roberta) Scott; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, all of Newark; five brothers, Clarence Cornett of Vandalia, Delbert Cornett, Ed Cornett and Carl Cornett, all of Zanesville, and Norman Cornett of St. Clairsville.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, Caldwell. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at St. Stephen Catholic Church, Caldwell. Memorial contributions may be made to Blessed Sacrament Church, 378 E. Main St., Newark, OH 43055.

Felix A. Dimmerling

In 1930, Felix Dimmerling (36) owned a farm on Nickleplate Road in Nimishillin Twp., Stark Co., OH. He lived there with his wife Mollie (35) and their seven children Vera (16), Virgil (15), Vincent (12), Venola (9), Velma (5), Virginia (3 yrs 9 mos) and Vivian (1 yr 1 mo.). Felix was not a veteran of the armed forces. The oldest four children attended school. Adjacent households in the census were those of to the Jackie family: Frank on one side and Floyd on the other.

Felix H. Dimmerling, age 88, of 2308 Reno Dr. NE
Louisville passed away at St. Joseph Hospice Wednesday
afternoon [9 Dec 1981] following an extended illness. Born
in Fulda, O., July 12 1893, he was the last surviving member
of the August and Barbara Schott Dimmerling family. He had
lived in Stark County for 65 years. A member of St. Louis
Catholic Church, he was a retired farmer and worked for the
Old Superior Sheet Steel Co. and the Old King Cole Co., both
of Louisville.
He is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Lee (Vera)
Hartman, Mrs. Venola Meek, Mrs. Gene (Velma) McKimm,
Mrs. Sam (Virginia) Mustacchio and Mr. Paul (Vivian) Metzger,
all of Louisville; two sons, Virgil Dimmerling of Minerva and
Vincent Dimmerling of Salem, Mo. He was preceded in death
by his wife Millie in 1962 and two grandchildren. There are 12
grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grand-
children.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday at 12
noon in St. Louis Church with burial in the church cemetery.
Friends called at the Paquelet Funeral Home Friday.


Amelia M. Ruppel

Obituary:
MRS. FELIX DIMMERLING
Mrs. Dimmerling of North Nickel Plate st died last
Thursday [11 Oct 1962] at the age of 68 after a brief illness.
She was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church and St. Ann’s
Altar and Rosary Society. She and her husband celebrated their
50th wedding anniversary in May.
Surviving in addition to her husband are five daughters,
Mrs. Vera Hartman, Mrs. Venola Meek, Mrs. Virginia Mustacchio,
Mrs. Velma McKimm, and Mrs. Vivian Metzger, all of Louisville;
two sons, Mr. Virgil Dimmerling of Canton, and Mr. Vincent
Dimmerling of St. Louis, Mo.; three sisters, Mrs. Loretta Crum
of Caldwell; and Mrs. Hilda Ritterbeck of Akron, and Mrs. Bernetta
Schell of Caldwell; one brother, Mr. Clemence Ruppel of Caldwell;
13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Solemn High Mass in St. Louis Catholic Church was sung
by Msgr. Robert Delmege on Saturday and burial was in the church
cemetery in charge of Paquelet Funeral Home.


LeRoy Joseph Haidet

Anniversary announcement:
Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Haidet _Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Haidet of Louisville celebrated their 50th anniversary on May 8. A party, hosted by their children and spouses, was held May 1 at the Louisville Church of Christ. The former Ann Hartman and her husband were married at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Maximo by the Rev. O'Neil. They attend St. Louis Catholic Church in Louisville.
They are parents of Denise Siegfried of Homeworth and Renee Wilcox, Bryan Haidet and Lori Begue of Louisville. They have 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Haidet is retired from Lincoln Way Motors in Massillon.
He is a Korean War Veteran. Mrs. Haidet is retired from Buckeye Village IGA in Louisville.


Casper Biedenbach

In 1850, laborer Casper Bedebaugh (30) lived in the 1st Ward of Ptittsburgh, Allegheny Couny, Pennsylvania. Also living in the household was Teressa (25), Mary (3) and John (1). The parents were from Germany; both children were born in Pennsylvania.

The 1850 census also contains a Bedenbach family in Miltonsburg, Malaga Twp., Monroe Co., Ohio (fam 20-20): Francis Bedenback (59) a weaver born in France, and Rosannah (48) born in Germany. No children live in the household. The relationship (if any) between this family and that of Casper Biedenbach is unknown.

In 1860, the family of Casper Biedenbaugh owned a farm worth $1400 in Calais, Seneca Twp., Monroe County, Ohio. Their personal possessions were worth $350. The household consisted of Casper Bidenbaugh (39), Terissa (35), Mary A. (12), John (11), Henry (8), Francis (6), Michael (4), Charles (3) and Joseph (1). The oldest four children atteded school. Casper and Terrisa were natives of Kurhessen; Mary and John were born in Pennsylvania, and the younger children were born in Ohio.

At the time of the 1870 census, farmer Casper Beadenbaugh (50) and his wife Terissa (45) lived in Stafford, Seneca Twp. Also living in the household were John (20), Henry (18), Frank (16), Michael (14), Charles (13), Jasper (11), William (9), Catherine (7), and Philimena (5). All of the children attended school except John, Catherine and Philimena. Casper was born in Hesse Castle, Terissa was from Prussia, and John was born in Pennsylvania. The family's real estate was valued at $8320, and their personal possessions were worth $880.

In 1880, 60 year old farmer Casper Bedenbach still lived in Seneca Twp., Monroe County, Ohio with his wife Theresa (56) and children Joseph (21), William (19), Katherine (17), and Filimenia (16). The children, all born in Ohio, did not attend school.

In the 1900 census, Casper's son Joseph indicated that his father was from Hessia, but his mother was from Saxony.
