SINGER, DONNA GEDDIS 81, passed away at home on May 17. Survived by her son John (Jeannie) Singer; daughters, Alexia Singer and Terri (Bob) Robinson; brother Keith Geddis; 8 grand- children; and 4 great-grandchildren. Funeral, Sat., May 21, 2005 at 2:00 p.m with a viewing one hour prior to the service at Olinger Crown Hill, 7777 W. 29th Ave. Burial to follow at Crown Hill Cemetery.


Ruth V. Glazier

Obituary:
Ruth V. (Glazier) Rippel, age 83 of Canton, passed away Thursday, March 23, 2006 in her home following a courageous 22 year battle with cancer. Ruth was born in New Philadelphia, OH, to the late Charles and Verna Glazier.
Ruth was Assistant Librarian at the New Philadelphia Library. Moving to Canton in 1952, Ruth volunteered at the Middlebranch school library then served four years as School Secretary at Taft Junior High School.
In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her ten year old grandson, Scott Dimmerling; two sisters and three brothers.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Howard A. Rippel of the residence; five children and four spouses, David and Susan Rippel of Maryland, Jack and Marie Rippel of Louisville, Rebecca Rippel of Canton, Jill and Roy Dimmerling of Louisville and Janice and Jim Dimmerling of East Canton; 14 grandchildren, Daniel, Nathan and Christopher Rippel, Bill and Jim McGill, Laura Bibey, Beth Ryan, Michael & Matthew Dimmerling, Jason, Jeremiah, Jennifer, Jessica Rippel and Andrew Dimmerling; nine great-grandchildren, Liam and Noah Rippel, Sarah & Sam McGill, Kyleigh and MacKenna Ryan, Kelsey and Zachary Bibey and Alexis Dimmerling.
Funeral service Monday, 11 a.m. in Good Shepherd Lutheran Church with Rev. Robert P. Sander officiating. Interment in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home, 4817 Cleveland Ave. NW, Sunday from 1-4 p.m. and one hour prior (10-11 a.m.) Monday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ruth’s memory to Hospice Of Stark County, 3611 Whipple Ave. NW, Canton, Ohio 44718 or to a charity of the donor’s choice
