Mary Householder

Obituary:

Mary E. (Householder) Haren, age 79, of Canton, passed away Sunday evening in Hanover House after an extended illness. Born in Minerva, OH, she was the daughter of the late Samual and Mary (Nolan) Householder. She was a graduate of McKinley High School and worked for many years at Canton Provision Company.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Robert W. Haren of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Roberta H. and Daniel M. Belden of Canton; son, Donald W. Haren of Minerva; sister, Ruth Williams of Dover; grandchildren, Daniel C. Belden, Susan B. Pechersky, Steve W. Haren, Daphne M. Fetterman; great-grandchildren, Ben, Sam, Michael, Karleigh, Victoria and Alexandra.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. in St. Peter Catholic Church with Msgr. John C. Finnigan as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday evening (tonight) 6-8 p.m. in the Wackerly Funeral Home. There will be a Parish Wake Service at 5:45 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Northeast Ohio Chapter, 4500 Rockside Rd., Suite 420, Cleveland, OH 44131 or the American Cancer Society


Michael Schario Haren

Obituary:
Michael S. Haren, age 63, of 8735 Alberta Beach St. NE Louisville was dead on arrival at Alliance City Hospital Saturday morning Aug. 1 [1981] following a sudden illness.
Born in Canton, Ohio July 7, 1918 to the late Sylvester and Anna Schario Haren, he lived in this area all his life. He worked many years as a bricklayer retiring last year. He was a member of Bricklayers Local #6 of Canton. An Army veteran of WWII, he was stationed at Pearl Harbor during the bombing on Dec. 7, 1941. He was a member of Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Harrisburg.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Rose (Cachat) Haren of the home, 5 daughters, Mary Ann and Mary Rose Haren of Los Angeles, Cal., Mary Louise, Mary Therese, and Mary Pat Haren, all of the home; two sons, Michael P. Haren and John Haren, both of Louisville, one sister, Mrs. Mello (Alice) Maurer of Louisville; one brother, Robert Haren of Magnolia, and one granddaughter, Linnea. He was preceded in death by 4 brothers, Sylvester, Bernard, Richard, and Earl; and one sister, Mildred.
A Mass of Christian Burial was sung at Sacred Heart of Mary Church Tuesday, Aug 4 at 10 A.M. Friends called at the Paquelet Funeral Home Monday Aug. 3. Burial was in the church cemetery.
