Charles Fidelio Brigham

After the death of his first wife, Charles Brigham married Mary Margaret Fink in California 15 Nov 1924.


Francis Charles Burkhardt

In 1920, 31 year old unmarried Francis Burkhart lived with his parents and two younger brothers. Francis worked as an auto mechanic.

At the time of the 1930 census, Francis (42) and Grace (30) Burkhardt rented a home for $35 a month in Braddock, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. Living with them were their children Francis Jr. (8), Mary (7), Louise (5), Richard (4), and Irmine (3). The oldest two children attended school. Aloysius was employed as a mechanic for an auto manufacturer. He was listed as a veteran of the Everyone in the household was born in Pennsylvania except Aloysius. The Burkhardt family owned a radio set.

Mary Grace Kelly

Grace's surname in the Social Security Death Index is Burkhardt, not Burkhart. There are two possible explanations for this:
1) Her husband Francis changed the spelling of the name from Burhart to Burkhardt.
2) Grace married a man named Burkhardt after Francis Burkhart's premature death.


Emma Marie Burkhardt

In 1900, 19 year old Emma lived with her parents and eight siblings in North Braddock, PA. She did not attend school (although her older sister did). Emma's occupation was listed as "factory girl."

In 1910, Emma Stone (29) and her only child, Paul (1) lived with her parents. Emma's husband was not a member of the household. Emma had been married for three years.


Phillip H. Markey

At the time of the 1920 census, carpenter Phillip (60) and Rosa (41) Markey owned a home on Fourth Street in McMechen, Marshall County, West Virginia. Living with them were children Vincent (10), Phillip (6), Joseph (3), Josephine (3), and Ella (20). Vincent and Phillip both attended school.

In 1930, Phillip (69) and Rose (52) Markey owned a home worth $4000 at 28 Third Street Alley in McMechen, Marshall County, West Virginia. Living with them were their children Vincent (21), Ella (30), Phillip R. (15), Joseph (13), and Josephine (13). The youngest three children attended school. Phillip's mother and father were born in (West) Virginia and the Irish Free State, respectively. Phillip was employed as a carpenter. The family did not own a radio set.


Clyde W. DeNoon

In 1930, Clyde (46) and Olivia (46) rented a house for $40 a month at 478 Highland Ave. in Meadville, Crawford County, PA. They lived there with their two sons, Daniel (19) and Robert (18), both of whom attended school Clyde and Olivia had been married for 25 years. Clyde was employed as a saleman for a glass works.


Olivia Ethel Burkhardt

In 1900, 16 year old Olive lived with her parents and eight siblings in North Braddock, PA. She did not attend school (although her 23 year old sister did.) Olive's occupation was "domestic."

In 1910, Olivia lived with her parents and siblings. Although she is listed as having been married for six years, her surname is written in as Burkhart. She had no children.


Marian Poulton

FORMER ZANESVILLE NURSE TO WED SOON
Mrs. Charles Poulton, Buena Vista street, Newark, recently entertained in
the Warden hotel with a bridge party and announced the engagement of her
sister-in-law, Miss Marian Poulton, to Larry Ziff, son of Mr. and Mrs. Morris
Ziff, Detroit. The wedding will take place early this month.
Miss Poulton is a graduate of Good Samaritan school of nursing and is very
well known in Zanesville. She is a member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority and is the
daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Poulton of Newark.


George Albert McLain

In 1900, George McLain (41) owned a mortgaged home in Barnesville, Warren Twp., Belmont County, Ohio with his wife Barbara (38) and children Willis (14), Stella May (12), James A. (9), Minnie (5), and Henry (3). The oldest three children attended school. George and his father were born in Ohio; his mother was a native of Pennsylvania. George was employed as a day laborer.

In 1910, George (51) and Barbara (47) lived on Sumerton Pike in Barnesville, Ohio with their children: Estekka M. (21), Albert J. (19), Minnie (15), Henry (13), Dorothy (9), and Deloris (5). According to the census, George's parens were born in Germany.

In 1910, all seven of Barbara McLain's children were still living.


Stella Mae McLain

In 1910, Stella McLain lived with her parents and younger siblings in Barnseville, Ohio. She was employed as a public school teacher.
