Bertha Loretta Allen

Sources conflict on name: Researcher Mark Haren gives the name of Charles Baker's wife as Bertha Loretta Allen. Charles Baker's obituary identifies his wife as Bertha L. Gribbon. The 1910 census has a Bertha S. Allen living as a servant with the Henry J. and Mary A. Gribbon in Woodsfield. She was single.

Clarence Reasbeck

In 1930, Clarence Reasbeck (age 40) owned a house worth $4500 at 415 Jefferson Street in Martins Ferry, Belmont County, Ohio. He lived there with his wife, Isabell (38), and children Mary Virginia (16), Lucille (14), Angeline (11), Stella (10), Russell C. (7) and David E. (10 mos.). All the children except the baby attended school. Everyone in the household was born in Ohio, as were their parents. Clarence was employed as a truck driver for an express company. The Reasbeck family did not own a radio set. Several other Reasbeck families lived nearby... 71 year old Charles Reasbeck and wife Mary lived next door, and next door to them was Leo Reasbeck (37) and his wife Catherine (36). Could these be Clarence's parents and brother? Further research needs to be done.
