John F. Suter Jr.

Obituary:
Jack F. Suter, age 76 of Canton, passed away Wednesday
afternoon surrounded by his loving family. Born in Canton on
February 21, 1930, he attended St. Mary’s grade school and
then graduated from Lincoln High School. A member of St.
Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Jack was an avid fisherman and
hunter. He retired from the Dyneer Corporation after 35 years,
working in management as a supervisor.
Preceded in death by his parents, John and Julia (Brahler)
Suter. He is survived by his wife, Carmel (Marcanthony) Suter
with whom he would have celebrated 53 years of marriage on
June 6, 2006; daughters and sons-in-law, Vicki and Kent Love-
joy, Karen and Scott Fitzpatrick, all of Canton; grandsons Ryan
and Evan Lovejoy.
Friends will be received on Friday (Tonight) from 6 to 8 p.m.
in the Rossi Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be
sung on Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church
with Rev. Fr. Edward Beneleit as celebrant. Entombment will
be in Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations
in Jack’s name can be made to the American Diabetes Associa-
tion, 1815 West Market Street, Akron, Ohio 44313 or the American
Heart Association, 4916 Hills & Dales Rd., Canton, Ohio 44708.

John P. Michel

Obituary:

John P. Michel, R.N., C.R.N.I., age 50, passed away at his home on September 3, 2002. John had two great joys in life. First and foremost, was his love of family. He was a dedicated husband and father and loved nothing more than to be with his wife of 23 years and children, who meant the world to him. John's second passion was nursing and his dedication to the responsibility of caring for his patients. He loved good conversation was an avid reader, enjoyed fishing, classical music, playing cards, and micro brew amber ales.
He was employed by Summa Health Care System for 20 years and worked part-time for Option Care. He graduated for Oakwood High School in 1969, served in the U.S. Army, graduated from Kent State University in 1977 with a B.A. in Anthropology, and received his nursing diploma from Akron City Hospital Idabelle Firestone School of Nursing in 1982.

Preceded in death by parents, Bernard and Virginia (Meyer) Michel; stepmother,
Mary (Robertson) Michel; and mother-in-law, Ruth Hrouda. He is survived by
his wife, Maggie;son, Nathan; daughter, Erin; sisters, Ann (Barry) Coplan of
Cuyahoga Falls, Rebecca (Warren) Gillis of Coral Springs, FL, Cynthia Michael
of Canton, Linda Arquilla of Princeton, TX, Marilyn (Lonny) Weatherspoon of
Alliance; his brothers, Dennis (Mikki) Michel of Toledo, Andrew (Thuy) Michel
of Westerville, Red (Wendy) Michel of Kent, Matthew (Diane) Michel of Pataskala; stepsisters, Diane (Warren) Grabner of Mt. Vernon, Jan (John) Benner of N. Canton, Betty (Pete) Van Norman of Bradenton, FL; father-in-law, Joseph Hrouda of Chardon; brothers-in-law, Joseph (Cheryl) Hrouda of Montville, Ron (Vicki) Hrouda of Chardon, and countless relatives, friends, and co-workers.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 6, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Hopkins
Lawver Uniontown Funeral Home, 3553 Northdale St. Memorial Service at 10:30
a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home with Pastor Larry Bennett officiating. In lieu
of flowers donations may be made to the J.P. Michel Children's Fund, c/o Key Bank,
