Clarence E. Tucker

Clarence Tucker’s obituary was published in the Caldwell Journal Leader on 28 Aug 2006:
Clarence E. Tucker, 70, of 214 West Spruce St., Byesville, died Sunday, August 20, 2006, at the Southeastern Regional Medical Center, Cambridge.
He was born at East Union on September 17, 1935, a son of Kenneth and Rosa Ayers Tucker.
He was a retired laborer for the Flint Ink Company in Canton, Michigan; a Methodist by faith; a U.S. Army veteran having served with the 3rd Armored Tank Division in Germany and also served during the same time as Elvis Presley. He was an avid NASCAR fan and loved gardening and yard work.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond E. Tucker and Delbert L. Tucker.
Surviving are his wife, Bertha Christman Tucker, whom he married on September 8, 1956; two brothers, Clyde R. Tucker and Carlos (Barbara) Tucker, both of Sarahsville; one sister, Elise Pride of Marietta; several nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation. Memorial services were held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday August 26, at the Brubach-Watters Funeral Home, Summerfield, with Rev. Mark Slay officiating. Burial will follow in the Calais Cemetery, Calais, with full military graveside services.
