Came to America in 1855, according to the 1930 census. The 1830 census suggests that Hannah may have been married to someone else prior to Anthony Schumacher. Calculations from data in that census indicate that she was first married in 1873; he was first married in 1876.
Researcher Michael Schumacher lists a child in this family: Philomena Burkhart, born 1874, who married George T. Schumacher.
According to the 1910 census, Hannah had given birth to one child, who died prior to 1910.
