Frederick E. Schehl

In 1930, Fred Schehl lived on a farm in Louisville, Nimishillin Twp., Stark County, Ohio with his in-laws. The houshold consisted of Curtis Stambaugh (55), his wife Ada (53), and daughters Ruth (27 ?) and Wilma (14), and son-in-law Fred Schehl. Everyone in the household was a native of Ohio, as were their parents.

Dates of birth and death, from the Social Security Death Index, have not been proven. According to the online Ohio death certificate index, Fred Schehl was married at the time of his death.


Lester S. Black

In 1920, Lester S. Black (19) rented a home at 637 Mahoning in Canton, Ohio. He lived there with his wife, Edna (17) and newborn daughter Doris L. Lester worked as a recorder for an alloy company. He and his daughter were natives of Ohio. Lester's father and mother were from Ohio and Pennsylvania, respectively.

In 1930, the Black family rented a home for $30 a month at 1717 17th St. NE in Canton. Members of the household were Lester S. Black (29), his wife, Edna M. (28), children Doris L. (10) and William L. (2 mos.), and Lester's unmarried sister, Dorothy B. Black (23). Lester worked as a car inspector for the railroad. Like many of their neighbors, the Black family owned a radio set.


William Hugh Black

The Geogrraphic Nameserver website (http://stuff.mit.edu/geo) lists three towns named Bloomfield in Ohio. They are in Morro, Muskingum and Washington counties. It is not known which Bloomfield William Black is from.

William Black was a service station operator, according to his death certificate. He had been a resident of Canton for 30 years.
