George M. Glasser

In 1900, George (26) and Annie R. Glasser (23) were boarders in the home of Charles Able (58) in Monroe Twp., Madison County, Indiana. Both George and Annie were natives of Ohio. They had been married for two years. Living with them was their 11 month old daughter, Ellen, who had been born in Pennsylvania. According to the census, George's father and mother were from Germany and Ohio, respectively. George was employed as a glass chimney blower.

By 1910, the family had moved back to Pennsylvania. They owned a home at 109 Camp Avenue in the 4th Ward of Braddock Borough, Allegheny County. Members of the household were George (34), his wife Anna (34), and their children Elen (11), Margaret (9), Leo (7), Agnes (5), Clarence (3 - identified as a daughter), and Regina (3 months). George and Anna were born in Ohio, Margaret and Leo were born in Indiana, and the rest of the children were born in Pennsylvania. George worked as a teamster on an oil wagon.
