DUNCAN FALLS -Barbara Ann Fisher Huffman, 52, of Brandywine Place, Zanesville, went to be with the Lord Jesus at 1:55 p.m. Friday, Dec. 19, 2008, at Genesis Extended Care and Rehab where she was lovingly cared for by her staff family and Genesis Hospice.
Barbara was born May 25, 1956, in Zanesville, the daughter of the late Ralph E. and Clara Hayman Fisher. She was a member of Euclid United Methodist Church, and the American Legion on 3rd Street. She previously worked in housekeeping at Good Samaritan Medical Center.
She is survived by her husband William Huffman whom she married Aug. 18, 2006; a sister Roni (Jim) Bruce of Zanesville; brothers Bret (Debbie) Fisher of Thornville, Dan (Candy) Fisher of Zanesville and Allen (Cindy) Fisher; two daughters Barbara (Wilburton) Rowan of Nashport and Billie (Mike) Collins of Zanesville, nine grandchildren, a very special friend she called sister, Birdie Miller of Zanesville, several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews whom she loved very dearly.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister Shawn Marie Fisher and her brother Bobby Fisher.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 p.m. today and noon to 2 p.m. Monday at the Thompson-Farus Funeral Home, Duncan Falls, where funeral services will be at 2 p.m. with Pastor Paul Wallace and Pastor Alice Baldwin officiating. Burial will follow in Duncan Falls Cemetery.
