Roy Leonard Noll

In 1930, newlyweds Roy and Mary Noll lived on the farm of Mary's parents Paul and Barbara Schwebach in Hanover Township, Columbiana County, Ohio. Roy and his wife were 25 and 17, respectively. Roy worked as an "odd man" in a factory. He and his parents were natives of Ohio. Mary was born in Michigan, as was her younger brother, Jacob. Her father and mother were natives of Hungary who came to America in 1908 and 1909, respectively. The family did not own a radio set.


Paul John Noll

The following appeared in The Zanesville (OH) Signal newspaper on July 24, 1933: SMALL SON INJURED Master Paul Noll, 3, son of Mr. and Mrs. Perry Noll, Fulda,
sustained painful injuries when he fell from the car driven by
his father when the door flew open. The child was brought to
Dr. E. G. Ditch where first aid was given.


Ambrose Freeman Noll

In 1930, Freeman Noll rented a house for $22.50 a month at 928 Enterprise in McKeesport, Allegheny Co., PA. Living with him were his wife, Loretta and daughter Lucille. Freeman was the manager of a grocery store. The Noll family owned a radio set.

According to the Social Security Death Index, Freman A. Noll's social security number was issued in Pennsylvania prior to 1951. His last residence was in Pittsburgh, but his last benefit went to Lake Isabella, Kern Co., CA.

Mass of Christian Burial, Mon., 10am, at All Saints Church, Etna.


Loretta Jeanette Blumling

Loretta's father and mother were born in Pennsylvania and Ohio, respectively.

Clarence Henry Schoeppner

HARRIETTSVILLE , O., Dec 28. - Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Schoeppner and
son Earl Edward are visiting the former’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward
Schoeppner.


From The Zanesville Times Recorder, 29 Mar 1930:
HARRIETTSVILLE -- Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Schoeppner and son, Earl, visited
Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Harley Estadt of Caldwell.

Relationships between these two couples are as follows:
* Clarence Schoeepner and Harley Estadt were first cousins.

Stella Catherine Noll

Stella's death certificate indicates that she was a resident of Noble County, but that she died out of state. (Location not specified.)


Elmer Edward Hartman

Elmer Hartman served in the Army during World War II and the Korean War.

were week end guests of relatives here.


Mary Sophie Noll

Mary Noll Schoeppner's obituary appeared in The Daily Standard (Celina, OH) newspaper on September 23, 2008.

Former Coldwater resident Mary S. Schoeppner, 97, of Kings Park, N.Y., died in Kings Park on Sept. 21, 2008. She was born Aug. 14, 1911, in Harrietsville, to Joseph and Mildred Schell Noll. On Feb. 25, 1930, she married Elmer Schoeppner, who died in 1995.
Surviving are two daughters, Bonita Beckman, Dayton, and Patricia (John) Carr, Kings Park; a sister, Clara McKerahan, Pittsburgh, Pa.; 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a daughter, Betty; and 10 brothers and sisters.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and its rosary altar sodality, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary, all of Coldwater.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Friday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater, the Rev. Richard Walling officiating. Burial is at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater. Calling is 9-10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Condolences can be left at www.hogenkampfh.com.


Elizabeth Jean Schoeppner

Betty Jean Schoeppner’s obituary appeared in the Zanesville Signal on 11 Jan 1939:
NOBLE CO. CHILD DIES AT HOSPITAL
Betty Schoeppner, six year old daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Elmer Schoeppner, Caldwell, died Tuesday night
at Good Samaritan hospital following an illness from
bronchial asthma. She was admitted to the hospital
Monday.
Surviving are her parents and two sisters, Bonnie
and Patricia, of the home. Funeral services will be
held at 8:30 o’clock Friday morning at St. Philomena
Catholic church, Caldwell. Burial will be in Olivet
cemetery, Caldwell. The body was removed to the
residence Wednesday afternoon from Estadt funeral
home, Caldwell.
