Robert Charles Schott

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Schott and children Chuckie, Mark, Timmy, Kristi Kay and Steven Lee of Caldwell attended the first annual Schott-Zwick family reunion in Caldwell, Ohio in August 1958. See notes of Henry Urban Schott for a complete list of attendees.


Robert Schott was a resident of Noble County, Ohio at the time of his death.

Dorothy Marie Schott, age 79, of Caldwell passed away Wednesday evening (Aug. 20, 2008) following a courageous battle with ALS/Lou Gehrig's Disease, at the Summit Acres Skilled Nursing and Rehab in Caldwell. She was born May 19, 1929 in Pennsylvania a daughter of the late John and Catherine Peros Urdak. Dorothy was a member of St. Stephen’s Catholic Church in Caldwell, where she was active in the Catholic Women’s Club. She was also a member of the Sunshine Singers. She enjoyed seamstress work as well as stained glass work and crocheting in her pastime. Her family was the light of her life and never left following a visit without first having a Gold 'N' Nugit Bar. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her Husband Robert C. Schott, whom she married July 23, 1949 and who passed away in May of 1973; Son Michael Schott; 3 Grandchildren Mollie and Levi Stritz and Greta Schott; Great-Grandson Peter Schott; 6 Brothers Paul, Robert, William, Thomas, Donald and James Urdak. Surviving are 5 Sons Chuck (Barb) Schott of Tenino, WA, Mark (Barb) Schott of St. Clairsville, OH, Tim (Debbie) Schott of Caldwell, Steve (Brenda) Schott of Caldwell and Dan (Rachelle) Schott of Orient, OH; 2 Daughters Kris (Mike) Stritz of Caldwell and Cindy (Dave) Heilman of Lewis Center, OH; 18 Grandchildren Josh, Noah, Emmett, Rob, Nick, Zack, Jack, Jared and Adam Schott, Nathan, Bethany and Rachel Stritz, Mya and Austin Schott, Matt and Ben Heilman, Mercedes and Cole Schott; 6 Great Grandchildren Sam, Rudy, Lanie, Blaine, Wyatt and Dylan Schott; 2 Sisters Betty Archer and Elaine (Denny) Gerst all of Caldwell; 2 Brothers Bernard and Daniel Urdak both of Columbus, OH; Also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends. Friends will be received Sunday (Aug. 24, 2008) from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, Ohio 43724 with a Vigil Service held at 8:00 pm. A Funeral Liturgy, with Mass, will be held at 10:00 AM Monday at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church in Caldwell, with Rev. Father Wayne Morris as Celebrant. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Caldwell.
