HARRIETTSVILLE WOMAN DIES AT 94
Harriettsville -- Mrs. Julia Ullman of Harriettsville died at 4:30 a.m. Minday (July 29) in Harmer House Convalescent Home in Marietta following a lingering illness. She leaves 119 survivors. Born Aug. 18, 1973 (sic) in Washington County, she was a daughter of Jacob and Elizabeth Bowers Schramm. She was a member of the United Methodist Churct and the WSCS in Harriettsville. Her husband, John, died in 1957.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Lenora Schott of Harriettsville, one son, Glen Ullman of Mantua, 32 grandchildren; 82 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Three sons, Gilbert, Earl, and Raymond are deceased. Twelve brothers and sisters also preceded her in death.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Mallett Funeral Home in Stafford where friends may call. Rev. Edgar Day will officiate and burial will be in Stafford Cemetery.

of Millersburg, formerly of Harriettsville, died at 12:25 a.m.
Wednesday (June 13, 2001) at Sunset View Nursing Home
in Millersburg.
She was born July 31, 1924, in Harriettsville to
Charles P. and Lenora Ullman Schott.
She is survived by her husband, Bob Barker; one
daughter, Darlene Cognion; three sons, Eugene Noe, Donald
Noe and Kenny Bartell; and several grandchildren and great-
grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles
Schott and Niel Schott; and one grandchild, Mary Marlene
Cognion.
Alexander Funeral Home in Millersburg is in charge of
arrangements. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

According to the Zanesville Signal (pg 1) 15 Sep 1952, Melvin E. Noe, 27, of 513 Shinnick street, Zanesville, pleaded guilty to grand larceny and was sentenced to probation.

CALDWELL - Joseph Henry Schott, age 75, of Caldwell
died Friday evening, Nov. 4, 2005 at Marietta Memorial
Hospital in Marietta, Ohio. He was born Nov. 11, 1929, in
Harriettsville, Ohio the son of the late Charles P. and Lenora
Ullman Schott. He was a partner in the Schott's Sawmill
and served his country and protected our freedom by
serving in the U.S. Army.
Friends will be received Tuesday (Nov. 8, 2005) from
2 to 9 p.m. at the Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West St.,
Caldwell, Ohio. Funeral services will be held Wednesday
(Nov. 9, 2005) at 2 p.m. in the Chandler Funeral Home
Chapel with the Rev. Father Samuel Saprano Officiating.
Burial will follow at Ogle's Ridge Cemetery where military
graveside services will be conducted by the Caldwell VFW
Post 4721 and Belle Valley American Legion Post 641.

Joseph Henry Schott, age 75, of Caldwell died Friday

Ohio the son of the late Charles P. and Lenora Ullman

Joseph is survived by his wife Mabel Hayes Schott of

Caldwell, OH and Samuel (Wendy) Schott of Caldwell,
OH. Two daughters Mary Jane (Rob) McKee of Caldwell,
OH and B. Joy (Dale) Guiler of Pleasant City, OH. Grand-
children Stephanie Slater, Alisa Slater, Janein Slater,
Robyn McKee, Bryan McKee, Travis and Heath Zerger,
Brooke Swain, Benjamin Joseph Schott. Great-grand-
children Isabel Fuller, Helen Slater, Madison Zerger,
Brooke Withers. Two Step Grandchildren Dale and
Troy Guiler. Step Great-Grandson Austin Guiler. Two
sisters Esther Hesson of Cumberland and Anna Mae
Brooker of Churchtown, OH. Three Brothers John Schott
of Dexter City, James Schott of Lower Salem and Dean
Schott of Beverly. Also survived by several nieces and
nephews.
Friends will be received Tuesday (Nov. 8, 2005) from
2 to 9 pm at the Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street,
Caldwell, Ohio. Funeral services will be held Wednesday
(Nov. 9, 2005) at 2:00 pm in the Chandler Funeral Home

Mabel A. Hayes

The following artilce appeared in the Zanesville Signal on May 19, 1953 CALDWELL - Announcement has been made of
the engagement of Miss Mabel Hayes, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Earl Hayes, Dexter City, Route 2 to
Joseph Schott of Harriettsville. Miss Hayes graduated
from Dexter City high school, class of 1952 and until
recently was employed at Whealdon's store in Millers-
burg. Mr. Schott was recently discharged from the army
after serving in Korea. No date has yet been set for the
wedding.

Doris Amelia Schott

The following wedding announcement appeared in The Zanesville Signal on July 6, 1952. TOOLE-SCHOTT NUPTIAL VOWS SAID WITH NOTE
OF SIMPLICITY Miss Doris Schott and Bernard Toole repeated their
double ring vows to the Reverend Linus Dury in St.
Nicholas church at 11 o'clock yesterday morning. The
ceremony was marked with simplicity and attended by
intimate friends of the couple. The former Miss Schott selected a ballerina length
gown of imported Venetian lace over satin for her morn-
ing wedding. It was styled with a close fitting lace jacket
over the strapless bodice of the satin dress. The jacket
was long sleeved and finished at the neckline with a
demure Peter Pan collar. covered buttons closed the
jacket down the front. She wore a Juliet cap of matching
lace to hold in place her fingertip length veil of nylon illusion.
Her Colonial bouquet was fashioned of white Starlight
roses and baby's breath. Miss Esther Schott was her sister's only attendant. She
wore a dress fashioned of yellow taffeta. The nylon net yoke
was edged with lace and the bodice tapered into the lace
panelled skirt in points at front and back. The skirt was bal-
lerina length, Miss Schott wore a closefitting hat to match
her gown and carried a Colonial bouquet of yellow rosebuds
and white daisies. William Toole was best man for his brother. Breakfast was served to the bridal party and immediate
families at Headley Inn after the ceremony. The new Mrs. Toole is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles
Schott of Harrietsville, O., and is employed in the office at Armco
Steel Corp. She makes her home in Zanesville at 479 Forest
avenue. She is a graduate of Harrietsville high school and
Meredith business college. Mr. Toole is the son of Mrs. Lillian Toole of Chandlersville
road and the late John Toole. He graduated at St. Nicholas
high school and was employed at Detroit Harvester company
before entering the service. Both young people are members
of the church in which they were married. The bride expects to join her husband at his army station at
a later date. He is stationed at Indiantown Gap, Pa., at the
present time.

Doris Schott Toole's obituary appeared in The Times Recorder (Zanesville, OH) newspaper on June 30, 1976. Mrs. Doris Toole, 43, of Springfield, former Zanesville resident,
died at 10 a. m. in Springfield after a three and-a-half-year illness. Mrs. Toole was born in Harrisonville, Noble county, a daughter
of Charles and Lenora Schott of the Sunny View Rest Home at
Caldwell. She was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church at Springfield. Surviving in addition to her parents are her husband, Bernard,
two sons, Michael and Patrick; and six daughters, Linda, Susan,
Julia, Karen, Carla and Amy, all of the home; and 10 brothers and
sisters. The body was taken to the Jones funeral Home at Springfield
where friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, July 1. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 2 in St. Ann's
church with burial in a Springfield cemetery.


Linda Marie Toole

The following appeared in The Times Recorder (Zanesville, OH) newspaper on August 11, 1971: GETS SCHOLARSHIP Miss Linda Toole, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Toole of Springfield, has received a $2,300 scholarship to attend Edgecliff College in Cincinnati from W.T. Grant Co., where she is employed. Miss Toole is a 1971 graduate of Shawnee High School and is a granddaughter of Mrs. Andrew Crock of Route 7 and the late John Tool. Her maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Charles P. Schott of Harriettsville.
