WEDDING OF MR. RYAN, MISS HILDEBRAND IS
SOLEMNIZED AT ST. NICHOLAS CHURCH Miss Anita Jane Hildebrand, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Bernard Hildebrand of 177 East Newman street,
and Stephen Alan Ryan were married at 1:30 p.m.
Saturday in St. Nicholas Catholic Church. The bride-
groom is the son of Mrs. Russell Ryan of 1335 Hazel
avenue and the late Mr. Ryan. The double ring ceremony was performed by Msgr.
Linus J. Dury and Rev. William Reiley of Cincinnati, a
former minister of Central United Methodist Church. Beaded motifs of Alencon lace enhanced the empire
bodice of the bride's ivory silk organza gown. Appliques
of the beaded lace were used on the cuff neckline, the
long tapered sleeves and the front of the A-line skirt.
The softly gathered back fullness formed a chapel
length train. A headdress of matching lace held her elbow length
veil of silk illusion. The bride carried a cascade of yellow
Sweetheart roses, white miniature Fuji pompons, Cali-
fornia ivy and baby's breath. Mrs. Arthur Lupfer of Lyndhurst, sister of the bride,
was matron of honor. Her gown was apricot chiffon with
empire bodice and shirred skirt. Venise lace with varie-
gated flower trim outlined the neck, bodice and long
sleeves. She carried a nosegay of apricot Sweetheart
roses, miniature carnations, baby's breath and white
lace, and wore a matching floral headpiece. Dresses identical to the honor attendant's were worn
by the bridesmaids, Mrs. Dwight Robinson, cousin of the
bride; Mrs. William Kolopajlo of Rome, N.Y. and Miss
Janice Hamilton of Marion. They carried nosegays like
Mrs. Lupfer's and wore floral headpieces. James D. Kuebler of Reynoldsburg served as best
man for Mrs Ryan. Ushers were Joseph Ryan of Colum-
bus and Richard Ryan of Athens, brothers of the bride-
groom, and John Rumberger of Columbus Mrs. Richard Ryan, sister-in-law of the bridegroom;
Miss Anne Stoffel of Columbus and Mrs. James Kuebler
of Reynoldsburg were assistants at the reception held at
the Holiday Inn after the ceremony. Mr. and Mrs. Ryan will live at 733 Sunset boulevard,
Apt. 2, Mansfield, when they return from a week's trip to
the Pocono Mountains. The bride, a graduate of Rosecrans High School, is a

field General Hospital. Mrs. Ryan is a member of the

ated from Zanesville High School and received his degree
in electrical engineering from Ohio State University. Presently
he is working toward a master's degree in business adminis-
