Mary Cathelyn Huffman

Rev. A. L. ``Bud'' Huffman, 74, of Alliance, died March 7, 1999, at hishome.
A former pastor of East Liberty E.U.B., Village of Green, Bethel UnitedMethodist Church in Akron, and Seville, United Methodist, he servedduring World War II with the U.S. Navy in the Pacific Theatre on theU.S.S. Goshen.

He is survived by his wife, Laura R. Huffman of Alliance; daughters, Mrs.Mark (Sue) Linsenmayer of Akron, Donna Huffman of Bucyrus, Mary Smeltz ofLexington, and Mrs. Bob (Jane) Herbst of Aurora; sons, Rodger Huffman ofAkron and Paul Huffman of Columbus; eight grandchildren, fourgreat-grandchildren; brothers, Robert Huffman and Rev. Julian ``Ben''Huffman, both of Alliance; and sisters, Doris Huffman of Alliance,Phyllis ``Polly'' Smith of Cuyahoga Falls, and Cathlyne Zwick of NorthBenton.

Funeral services at Vine Street United Methodist Church at 1 p.m.Thursday, March 11, 1999. Friends may call at Cassaday-Turkle-ChristianFuneral Home, 75 S. Union Ave., Alliance, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Wednesday; and one hour prior at the church on Thursday. Contributionscan be made to the Kiwanis Iodine Deficiency Disorder c/o AllianceKiwanis Club; Alliance Visiting Nurses Association; Gideon International;Vine Street United Methodist Church; or Bolton United Methodist Church.

Theresa R. (Zwick) Eye
An extended illness preceded the death of THERESA R. EYE, 63, of 550 East Nine Mile Rd., Pennsacola, FL. at 7:45 a.m. Friday, Oct 26, at West Florida Regional Hospital, Pensacola.
Born at Harrisburg, OH, June 12, 1927 she was the daughter of thelate Michael and Ottilia Kress Zwick. She lived in the Alliance area until five years ago and was a former member of the Vine Street United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by a son Dennis.
Survivors include her husband, Harold, of the home; two daughters Darlene Sample of Carrollton and Deborah Santee of Alliance; a son, Donald H. of Canton; six sisters - Hilda Schaub and Florence Marshall of Louisville, Magdalen Larson of Villa Maria, PA, Catherine Lawrence of Canton, Margaret Rising of Warren, and Mary Saunier of Albuquerque, NM; two brothers - Norman Zwick of Tucson, AZ. and Joseph Zwick of BonitaS prings, FL; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The Rev. John Palmer conducted funeral services at 1 p.m. Tuesday,Oct. 30, at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home where friends called 1 hour before the service. Burial was in Fairmount Memorial Park.
