Roman Leonard Miller

Twenty-one years old Roman did not live with his father and younger siblings at the time of the 1910 census.

According to his father's obituary, Roman was living in Detroit in 1934. Social Security number issued in Michigan.


John Clarence Miller

Clarence Miller moved to Iowa, according to his father's 1934 obituary.

Charles R. Rowland

In 1880, 41 year old farmer Charles Rowland lived in Enoch Twp., Noble County, Ohio with his wife Carilla and children Elmer (14), Mary (12), Jonas (10), Oliver (8), Luly (5), Frank (4), Nelson (2), and Sally (4 mos). The oldest five children attended school. Also living in the home was Charles' mother-in-law, Mary Sanford (56). The census states that both of Charles Rowland's parents were born in Ohio. Adjacent farms in the census belonged to Issac Bass and Casper Schafer.

In 1900, 62 year old farmer Charles Rowland lived on a rented farm in Enoch Twp with his 58 year old wife, Charilla and six unmarried children: Jonas (30), Frank (24), Nelson (22), Sallie (20), Wilber (17), and Columbus (15). Columbus attended school for six months. Charles Rowland spoke and read English, but could not write. Everyone else in the household was able to read and write. John and his mother were born in Ohio... his father was from Maine.

Charles and Charilla Rowland were living in the household of son Frank at the time of the 1910 census.

At the time of the 1900 census, unmarried 24 year old farmer Frank Rowland lived and worked with his parents and siblings on a farm in Enoch Twp., Noble County, Ohio. In 1910, 34 year old Frank Rowland was listed as the head of household. Living with him were his parents, Charles (72) and Charilla (68), his brothers Jonas (40) and Wilbur (27), and niece Holly Dimmerling.


Nelson Rowland
