Bernard Joseph Heppner

Obituary:
B. J. HEPPNER, LOCAL PRODUCE DEALER, DIES
Bernard J. Heppner, age 57, of 5473 Meese St., NE Louisville, passed away
Friday morning at Timken-Mercy Hospital following a short illness. Born in
Fulda, Ohio, December 12, 1916 to the late Frederick and Adeline Miller Heppner,
he lived in the Louisville area almost all his life.
Mr. Heppner was owner and operator of the B. J. Heppner Produce Co., of
Louisville for 15 years and was a member of the St. Louis Catholic Church and the
Louisville Knights of Columbus, Council 2530.
He is survived by his wife, Ethel C. of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Carl (Diane)
Price of Canton and Susane Heppner of North Canton; four sons, Dennis Heppner of
San Diego, Calif., Larry Heppner of Cincinnati, Thomas Heppner of Lima, and Robert
Heppner of the home; one brother, Harold Heppner of Louisville and eight grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Monday at 10 AM in St. Louis Catholic Church
with burial in the church cemetery. Friends called at the Paquelet Funeral Home Sunday
from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. K. of C. held services Sunday at 7 PM in the funeral home.


Ethel Catherine Monter

Obituary:
Ethel C. Heppner, age 80, of Louisville, loving mother, grandmother,
and great-grandmother passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2000 in St. Joseph
Care Center following a sudden illness. Ethel was born September 5, 1919 in
Harrisburg and was the daughter of the late Victor and Dora (Frank) Monter.
She was a former bookkeeper at Molly Stark Hospital and a member of St.
Louis Catholic Church. Ethel was a member of St. Ann’s Altar and Rosary,
Columbus Women’s Club, Harrisburg Senior Citizens and the F.O.E. Women’s
Auxiliary. She was active in the Linden Hall Homemaker’s Club and numerous
card and social clubs.
Ethel leaves behind two daughters, Dian DeGasperis of Canton and Sue Heppner
of North Canton; three sons and four daughters-in-law, Larry and Janine Heppner
of Cincinnati, Tom and MaryJo Heppner of McConnellsville, Bob and Kathy
Heppner of Lithonia, and Joyce Heppner of Chagrin Falls; three sisters, Helen Polus
of Louisville, Isabelle Monter of Louisville, and Kathleen Chenevey of Alliance; eleven
grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband Bernard J. Heppner, who passed away
January 11, 1974, a stepmother, Cora Monter, a son, Dennis Heppner; a sister, Sister
Joanita, and three brothers, John, Paul, and Austin Monter.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Louis Catholic
Church with Msgr. Ken Miller officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends
may call Friday evening from 4-7 p.m. at Paquelet-Falk Funeral Home in Louisville.


Charles Henry Brayne

Charles was a merchant seaman who emigrated from England to Chicago in 1892. He became a naturalized citizen in 1900. In the 1910 US Census, his occupation is listed as "own free house Officer." He died in 1941 on West Huron St. in Chicago. His wife was still alive at the time of his death.


Vincent Charles Fox

Lived in Columbus, Ohio in 1970. Worked at Western Electric.
