Julian A. Kullman

At the time of the 1920 census, Julian Kullman (24) rented a home in Jefferson Township, Muskingum County, Ohio. Living with him were his wife, Myrtle (23), and children Evelyn (2 yrs 9 mos) and Thomas (1 yr 3 mos). Everyone in the household was a native of Ohio, as were their parents. Julian worked as a weaver at the Cleveland Woolen Mills. His brother Adrian lived nearby in the census.

The 1962 obituary of Jane Kullman Cullins lists only one surviving brother: Julian.


Rose P. Kullman

In 1910, the 12 year old daughter of Nancy Kullman is named Millie. In 1900, she was called Rose.

Eliza Ann West

In 1910, 55 year old widow Eliza A. Danford owned a farm in Marion Township, Noble County, Ohio. Living with her was her only child, Mollie (31), Mollie's husband, Phillip Kullman (32), and their son Leo (4). Eliza's father and mother were born in Northern Ireland and Pennsylvania, respectively.

Rosa Coleman Archer's obituary appeared in The Times Recorder (Zanesville, OH) on September 13, 1954
MRS. ROSA ARCHER DIES AT HOSPITAL
Mrs. Rosa M. Archer, 74, of 1726 Owens street, died early yesterday morning in Good Samaritan hospital following a five day illness. Death was attributed to complications.
Mrs. Archer was admitted to the hospital Sunday after suffering a cerebral hemorrhage while returning from St. Thomas Catholic church where she had attended mass.
Mrs. Archer was born in Fulda, O., on Dec. 29, 1879, the daughter of John and Mary Sorg Coleman. She had lived in this city for the past 52 years. Her husband, Frank, died June 12, 1952.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Leona Sunkel of 2098 East pike and Mrs. Adelaide Emmert of 921 Marietta street; two sons, Lloyd and Raymond Archer, both of Phoenix, Ariz; two sisters Mrs. Dena Hill of Berne, O., and Mrs. Olivia Archer of Fulda; two brothers, Joseph and Andrew Coleman, both of Fulda; 17 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
The body was removed to the Hillis funeral home where friends may call after 1 o'clock today.
Funeral services will be held at 9 o'clock Monday morning in St. Thomas catholic church. Burial will be in Mount Calvary.


Ernest D. Dowling

Mrs. Glenn Moore and son, Glenn, Jr., will attend the wedding of the former’s brother,
Ernest Dowling, and Catherine Callahan which will take place today at St. Philomena Catholic
church at Caldwell.
The bride is the niece of Mr. and Mrs. A.J. Croch (sic) of Dexter City and is a graduate of
Dexter City high school, class of 1936. She has been employed at the Mosaic Tile company
for the past several months.
Mr. Dowling is the son of the late Arthur and Cora M. Dowling and is a graduate of the
1935 class of the Caldwell high school. He has been employed in the office of Sears-Roebuck
company in Zanesville for the past year.
Following the ceremony a reception will be held at the bride’s home. Later the young
couple will come to Zanesville to establish their home.

In 1956, Ernest Dowling lived in Inkster Village, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit. By 1984, Ernest and Catherine had moved to the Orlando, FL area.


Clarence L. Callahan Jr.

Clarence's Social Security number was issued in Ohio prior to 1951. Clarence and several of his siblings moved to the Detroit area.

Mildred A. Callahan

CALDWELL - Mildred A. Gardner, 80, of Caldwell died Friday evening
(April 2, 2004) at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center in Cambridge.
She was born Feb. 12, 1924, in Warren Township, Macomb County, Michigan,
to Clarence and Sophia M. Brahler Callahan. She was a graduate of Dexter City
High School. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church
in Caldwell.
She is survived by one granddaughter, Shannon Lea Hemminger of Coshocton;
one son-in-law, Gene Hemminger of Coshocton; one sister-in-law, Mary Lou (George)
Vaughn of Caldwell; and several nieces and nephews.
On July 23, 1948, she married Robert Cooper Gardner. He died on April 13, 1989.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Deborah A. Hemminger,
on March 18, 1994; Albert and Agnes Crock, by whom she was raised; three brothers,
Clarence, Claude and Clyde Callahan; and one sister, Catherine Dowling.
Funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Stephen Catholic
Church in Caldwell with Father Dale Tornes as celebrant. Burial is in Dudley Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home in
Caldwell, where Christian Scripture services will be held at 8:30 p.m. today.
Memorial contributions may be made to the humane society or a charity of the donor's
choice.

both of Coshocton; a sister-in-law Mary Lou (George) Vaughn of Caldwell; several nieces
and nephews. Friends may call at the McVay-Perkins Funeral Home on Monday (4/5/2004) from
2-4 & 7-9 pm where Christian Scripture Services will be held at 8:30 pm. Funeral Mass
with Liturgy will be celebrated on Tuesday (4/6/2004) at 10 am at St. Stephen Catholic
Church in Caldwell with Fr. Dale Tornes as celebrant. Burial will follow at Dudley Ceme-
tery. The family requests memorials be made to the Humane Society or the charity of your
choice.
