Dolores Ann Stiers

The wedding announcement of Dolores Stiers and Patrick Fox appeared in the Lancaster (OH) Eagle Gazette accompanied by a full-length photo of the bride.
MISS DOLORES ANN STIERS REPEATS VOWS WITH PATRICK FOX IN MAY 23 CEREMONY
Saint Rose Catholic Church, New Lexington, Ohio was the setting for the May twenty-third wedding of Miss Dolores Ann Stiers and Mr. Patrick N. Fox. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Fr. Maurice Donovan.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Forest L. Stiers of Dayton, O. Mr. Fox is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence E. Fox, Lancaster.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a floor length gown of embroidered nylon organza designed with a sabrina neckline and an empire waist. Her veil of illusion fell from a leaf cap. She carried a colonial bouquet of roses and lilies-of-the-valley, and a crystal rosary, a gift of the bridegroom.
Miss Barbara Stiers, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor and Miss Martha Stiers was bridesmaid. They were attired in nylon organza gowns, the maid of honor in pink and the bridesmaid in green.
They carried colonial basket bouquets of pink and yellow daisies.
Mr. Paul Fox was the best man for his brother. Mr. Hugh Fox, Mr. Daniel Stiers and Mr. Edward McIlvoy were ushers.
The reception was held in the home of the bride’s uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Daniel McIlvoy.
The bride was graduated from St. Aloysius Academy, New Lexington, and Mt. Carmel Hospital School of Nursing, Columbus. Mr. Fox was graduated from St. Charles Borromeo College Seminary and is now employed at the Boys’ Industrial School, Lancaster.
The young couple now lives at 1443 East Chestnut Street in Lancaster.
